                   STEEL AND
                   LIBERTY MILLS

                   A LUCKY FEW were able to
                   attend the oversubscribed visit to
                   the Tata Steel and Liberty Steel
                   pipe mills, in Hartlepool.
                    Both facilities offered a technical
                   end-to-end tour of the processes
                   involved in the manufacture of oil
                   and gas pipelines used throughout
                   the world.
                    The Tata Steel mill recently
                   celebrated its 50th anniversary
                   and, with significant investment, is
                   going from strength to strength.
                    The mill is linked to the
                   company’s strip products business
