Welcome to the first edition of Radiodowntown.ca online.
Boy, is it time for good news er’ what? If you want to watch the news turn on your TV. If you want to read the news, pick up the newspaper if you can find one these days or tune in to your favourite news heavy radio station. All those sources are great the news, they keep you up to date with all the current events, locally, nationally and globally.
Now, if you finished getting all the news whether its good or bad, it’s time you sat down in front of your computer and enjoy something that is good to read while listening to some of the best music ever made.
Our plan is to give you a little insight of the Web Radio biz, new artists on the rise, familiar artists of the past, whats going on in the music scene and simply lots of GODD NEWS for a change. I think we all need that right now.
This publication will be available online at the first of every month on our web site https://radiodowntown.ca.
We are looking for your stories, your input, wow even a recipe. If you know of a local musical event let us know, we would love to publish it.
We are always looking for talent to be part of our 30 minute feature programme called the Perfect Note where we feature an artist and their music along with a skype interview. This programme is hosted by myself John K and our Programme Director KC Darlin. If you want to be part of this feature or know someone who might contact us here at the station.
At Radiodowntown.ca we play what we call “The Perfect Music Mix 24/7”. Our broadcast is global and our listeners are growing every day. Our radio presenters are from Canada, United Kingdom, and the United Sates. Check out our web site for show times and genres.
Its become more evident that people are streaming more on TV and their computer to both video and music. The internet has enabled Radio Presenters like myself and others to reach a wider audience than ever before. We have listed our station to many platforms around the world with streaming radio companies. Over 12 platforms now and counting. Even with a data plan on your mobile phones and tablets we are also available in vehicles.
Take the time to listen when you get a chance by simply going to our web site whether on your computer, Laptop, tablet or phone, I know you will enjoy it.
