Memory Foam Mattress Pad Topper
It is an obvious fact that the form of the mattress we sleep on has a great impact
on the degree of comfort in our sleep and also, may in uence our long term
health. Thus, paying careful attention to the mattress topper is essential. The
mattress topper or the mattress pad topper, is what our bodies come into direct
contact with, hence it is crucial that they o er maximum levels of comfort.
There are two types of mattress pads and pad toppers one can select from. They
are latex ones and memory foam ones. The main di erence between the two is
the fact that latex mattresses are more bouncy while the later type stays steady,
providing comparatively more support. Increasing concern about muscle and
bone health has caused people to go for memory foam mattresses and memory
foam mattress pad toppers rather than latex ones.
This article addresses two main concerns about memory foam mattress pad
toppers. 1. Why memory foam?
2. Are mattress pad toppers worth buying?
Memory foam, rst produced in 1966, for NASA (as cushioning in aircrafts) is
polyurethane of increased density. Thus they are more supportive, but also
heavier. Indeed, memory foams provide the support one needs while providing
healthy levels of coziness. They don’t curve into the shape of the body and
enables anyone (even those with sever back problems) to experience restful
slumber.
