Welcome to the Baccalieu

      Coastal Drive.

The Baccalieu Coastal Drive is a scenic driving route that weaves its way through
picturesque fishing villages, rugged coastline, and some of the province’s most
      important historic sites.

Just north of the curiously named Town of Dildo, you’ll find Green’s Harbour.
Here, nestled on an oceanfront estate of over a hundred acres overlooking
Trinity Bay, is the Doctor’s House Inn and Spa. This hidden jewel features
      picture-perfect gardens amongst breathtaking scenery.

Few places offer as beautiful a sunset as Trinity Bay, and Ocean Delight Cottages
in Whiteway and Heart’s Delight are perfect for watching the sun descend in all
its glory. For a region known for romance, these oceanfront accommodations
      make the perfect getaway.

The Wooden Boat Museum of Newfoundland and Labrador tells the story of
how the Baccalieu Coastal Drive was navigated in the decades and centuries
past – at least its waters. At this museum you’ll discover why the wooden
boat is integral to our history, and cultural and provincial identity.
