            Computer Science Specialization Program
The Computer Science MS program provides three specialization programs -
Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning, and Data
Science - covering both fundamental and advanced knowledge in specialized
computer science areas. It mainly focuses on increasing the depth of
knowledge and skills in the areas and applying advanced computer science
knowledge to solve complex computational problems in various application
domains. A specialization is not a requirement for the degree, but it provides a
valuable guideline for students to build their professional career goals.

            Specialization Program Requirements:
            1. Applicants to the specialization in Computer Science should satisfy the
admission requirements of the Master of Computer Science degree programs.
            2. All credits must be completed at Bowie State University.
            3. All requirements must be completed within a period of five (5)
            consecutive years.

            Specialization in Cybersecurity

The Cybersecurity Specialization covers the fundamental concepts underlying
the construction of secure systems with the use of cryptography to secure
interactions. These concepts are illustrated with examples drawn from modern
