Academic Affairs
I am pleased to announce that a consultant has been retained
to help chart the course for the future of Academic Affairs,
with an eye toward building on the university’s academic
strengths. Dr. Mary Pat Seurkamp will conduct interviews with
members of the administration, faculty, staff and students
beginning Friday, November 3 and concluding in December.
Dr. Seurkamp offers a wealth of experience in higher
education. She is President Emerita at Notre Dame of
Maryland University and a founding partner in MPK&D Higher
Education Strategy and Leadership Consulting. She also has
ongoing consulting relationships with Yaffe & Company and
Asset Strategy Consultants and is a Senior Advisor and
Director for the New President’s Program for the Council of
Independent Colleges. Additionally she previously held the
position of Vice President for Institutional Planning and
Research at St. John Fisher College in Rochester, New York.
