ACTIONS TAKEN

Isabela State University, College of Nursing conducted

partnership in instruction, we had established linkages
with other national hospitals, like NCMH, POC, and

SLH in order to develop skills of our students

particularly in specialized institutions. We also had
collaboration with Philippines Nursing Association,

Connecticut U.S.A where we conducted free medical

missions, check-ups, laboratory tests and feeding
programs.

Under research, we had a research paper with USAID

entitled, “Using Contact Tracing to Assess Barriers to
Diagnosis and Treatment and Develop an Educational

Campaign Childhood Tuberculosis in Northern

Philippines..” For our extension, we have linkage with

BIDANI (Barangay Integrated Development Approach
for Nutrition Improvement) together with the Local

Government Unit.
