• Statistics and record-keeping are important tools used by
any library to quantify the volume and nature of work it
carries out in serving its various users. Since usage
reports are the most popular to run and capture the most
information, the University Library likewise adopts a
mechanism to monitor the usage of multimedia equipment
and IT software.
• The Ebsco provides standard reports that can run reports
by site, user group, profile, and time frame. All reports can
be run and customized, say how many times articles with
full text were accessed last month or which database is
the most popular in our library. Even which campus in the
ISU system uses EBSCO databases the most can all be
generated.
• The library also maintains a logbook of Internet users who
physically come to the Elibrary section. An actual
monitoring report of current users who request usage of
the WiFi connection in the library is also properly
maintained and well-documented by using MikroTik
WinBox
• Clients who wish to borrow an equipment or Non-book
material from the library are required to fill-out the
Agreement to Borrow Non-Book Materials Form.
These forms are recorded and kept on file.
