D. Staff Development Plan
The Staff Development Plan until S.Y. 2026 creates equal opportunities for faculty
for their professional growth and as an ISO 9001:2015 certified institution, the University
follows the SOI for Faculty and Staff Development. For the past six years, two faculty
members were allowed to go on study leave simultaneously to pursue their Doctoral degree
to strengthen the faculty profile of the program.
Alongside pursuing advance studies, faculty members are also scheduled to attend
trainings, seminars, and conferences to sustain academic excellence and quality in
instruction. A pre-evaluation as to the relevance of the seminar is done and an individual
report of participation is submitted by the faculty upon completion of the seminar. Re-
echo seminar is being implemented to disseminate the learnings gained from trainings and
seminars.
Joining professional organizations are also encouraged as it broadens their network
and at the same time, equipped the faculty with the relevant information and effective
methodologies that are of help to professional growth. Through membership to these
professional organizations, the faculty demonstrates greater interaction with fellow
educators from other institutions that enhance professional growth and updating; initiate
innovations to peers; and learn and acquire new concepts from other people in the academe
and research.
