B. Curricular, Co-curricular and Extra Curricular Activities
The balance in co-curricular, extracurricular activities ensures that the
students are given time to enjoy not just their academics but it gives them the chance to
showcase more of their talents and allows them to embody a happy and fulfilled journey
as a student.
The University supports, Republic Act No. 7356 (April 3, 1992) An Act
Creating the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), with the
Educational Institutions as the primary vehicle for sports and socio-cultural promotion
and development. Hence, the students enjoy and participate in these contested activities,
with the guidance of coaches and advisers. Scholarship grants are also given to students
who garnered medal in their contested fields, other activities that the university supports
are in consonance with mental health and spiritual activities that makes a holistic
approach in the whole being of the students.
The different student organizations and councils are also in place in order to
make sure that the students’ welfare is all at top most concern of the university some of
the activities given to students such as trainings, research presentations,
fora/professional lectures, extension activities, seminars- workshops/ conferences and
meetings, pinning/capping, sport - sociocultural activities and bible studies/ spiritual
enrichment.
