IV.Reasonable Budget
Budget needed for the improvement of instruction in the university is provided through
the following sources:
A. General Appropriation Act 101 (GAA)
Budget is allotted for instruction and its support system. The funding support comes from
the national budget allotted for the university.
B. Supplemental Budget
This source comes from collections of student tuition fees. The University
appropriated these accordingly to the different units of the university which include instruction,
research and extension units.
C. External Budget
Funds for student and faculty development are result of linkages with GOs and NGOs,
USAID, CHED, DOST, LGUs to name some of them.
D. Staff Development Fund
Grants are also available like the Staff Development fund from the University which
finances/supports monthly stipends, book allowances and travel allowances, as well as
thesis/dissertation assistance of faculty scholars.
