                                                           Beitou Park has century-old histories.
                                                           There are something new and something old
                                                           too in the park. Each era has left its mark
                                                           here.   Walking out from the New Beitou
                                                           MRT Station, it is a fountain coming into the
                                                           passengers’ eyes first, with lights and dancing
                                                           water in it. Following the long trails, the Paper
                                                           Bark Tree and the Oldham Scolopia Tree on
                                                           one side are the century-old companions for
                                                           this park. The stone arch bridge in the park is
                                                           said to have been built in 1913. It was the only
                                                           stone arch bridge that was preserved to this
                                                           day and has historical significance. At the end
                                                           of the park are Beitou Library and Beitou Hot
                                                           Spring Museum. They are built in different
                                                           era but nevertheless equally beautiful.
