Beitou District | Beitou Park
Beitou Park has century-old histories.
There are something new and something old
too in the park. Each era has left its mark
here. Walking out from the New Beitou
MRT Station, it is a fountain coming into the
passengers’ eyes first, with lights and dancing
water in it. Following the long trails, the Paper
Bark Tree and the Oldham Scolopia Tree on
one side are the century-old companions for
this park. The stone arch bridge in the park is
said to have been built in 1913. It was the only
stone arch bridge that was preserved to this
day and has historical significance. At the end
of the park are Beitou Library and Beitou Hot
Spring Museum. They are built in different
era but nevertheless equally beautiful.
