Greening UP ark
Yangmingshan National Park
It was officially established in 1985.
The region of the park spans cross
the Taipei City and New Taipei City,
including Beitou District and Shilin
District. The park mostly covers the
central of Datun volcano group, with
an area of 11,338 hectares.
Datun Volcano Group
A group of active volcanoes. Its
geological structures are mostly
andesite.
Zhishan Yan
This site is rich in erosion landscape
and human histor y. It is now
managed and maintained by the Wild
Bird Society of Taipei, and is called
"Zhishan Cultural and Ecological
Garden".
Shezi Island
In 1963, due to the typhoon
flooding, it was implemented
”Building Permit Bans” for
40 years. In recent years, new
thinking of local development has
been opened up.
