Nicki Minaj Expands Upon Retirement Announcement
Are Smollett And His Sister Shopping A Movie About Being Falsely Accused?
On Thursday afternoon (Sept. 5), Nicki Minaj re- vealed her plans to retire in order to start a family with her partner Kenneth Petty. "To my fans, keep repping me,doittildadeathofme,in the box — cuz ain't nobody checkin me. Love you for LIFE," she tweeted. After she addressed her fans, they had a bevy of mixed reactions to the "Majesty" rapper's deci- sion, leading Minaj to ex- pand upon the situation on Twitter again.
"I'm still right here," she began. "Still madly in love with you guys & you know that. In hindsight, this should've been a Queen Radio discussion & it will be. I promise u guys will be happy. No guests, just us talking about everything. The

tweet was abrupt & insensi- tive, I apologize babe."
In August 2018, Minaj re- turned to the music-sphere with her fourth studio album Queen. The soundscape boasts singles like "Chun-Li," "Barbie Dreams," "Good Form," and "Bed." Queen en- tered the Billboard 200 chart
at No. 2 and received mixed reviews. Since that time, Minaj continued to solidify her presence in the music in- dustry by being featured on remixes and singles like Pop Smoke's "Welcome To The Party," Megan Thee Stal- lion's "Hot Girl Summer," and Da Baby's "Suge."
JUSSIE AND JURNEE SMOLLETT
Hollywood siblings Jussie Smollett and Jurnee Smol- lett-Bell are allegedly shop- ping around a movie about a wrongfully accused brother and sister.
According to Love B Scott, a source exclusively told the site the pair is developing the film and is seeking directors to work on the project.
Based on the unidentified source’s tip, the new movie may be loosely based on Smollett’s hate crime and the allegations that his incident was made up.
The former Empire star dominated headlines early this year after he allegedly endured a hate crime in Chicago’s Streeterville neighborhood in January.
The California native says he was attacked by two people who were “yelling out racial homophobic slurs” and “poured an unknown chemical substance on the victim,” ac- cording to police. One of the suspects allegedly put a rope around his neck during the at- tack.
After conflicting reports, authorities began to suspect Smollett staged the entire at- tack due to his disappointment in his Empire salary. He was indicted in March on 16 felony counts of disorderly conduct for making a false report.
In a stunning twist of events, all charges against the singer were suddenly dropped weeks after the alleged inci- dent.
Cardi B, Fat Joe & Anuel AA Drop Sizzling Song ‘Yes’ & Fans Go Wild For New Single
Talk about timing. Less than two hours after Nicki Minaj announced that she was “retiring” from the rap game, Cardi B, 26, said she was releasing a brand new song! Not one to go back on her word, the Hustlers star followed through on Sept. 6, releasing, “YES,” her collab- oration with rap legend Fat Joe, 49, and the pride of Puerto Rico, Anuel AA, 26. The track had fans saying – appropriately enough – “yes!” Or, “yaaaaaaaasss, queen!”
Fat Joe takes over the first 1:20 of the song then Cardi rages in with the lines “Never been stressed by a ho, no/Never been pressed

by a bi**h/Murder and the money on my mind/I’ve call- ing on my trigger finger itch bi**h.” She finishes her bars and Anuel AA comes in with his in Spanish. One fan took to Twitter and loved Cardi’s bar “BEEN RUN- NIN SH*T AND STILL AINT OUTTA BREATH, I CAN
LAY A VERSE AND LAY THESE HOES TO REST!!” #Yes.” Another fan tweeted “#Yes is PERFECT!!!!” while one person pointed out “The beat is so fire!! I love that they sampled Aguanile, I’ve never heard that song being sampled before! I’m so proud!”
