MOTHER DELBRA YVETTE SHARPE STOWE
As Jesus’ whispers became clear, she could now hear Jesus calling. Her heart was fixed, and her mind was made up. Jesus as- sured her that she was more than a survivor, she was a conqueror!
Mother Delbra Yvette Sharpe Stowe rested peacefully in Jesus’ care as she transitioned at 3:42 A. M. Sunday, August 23, 2020.
A Private Celebration Service will be held for Mother Delbra Yvette Sharpe Stowe.
Delbra Yvette Sharpe Stowe was the eldest of seven siblings born to the late Mr. and Mrs. Lee (Miriam) Sharpe, Jr. on March 20, 1952, in Tampa, Florida. She was educated in the Hillsborough County School System, and was a 1969 graduate of Howard W. Blake High School. She further matriculated to The University of South Florida and Hillsborough Community College.
Becoming a college graduate was one of her greatest accom- plishments.
At an early age Mother Stowe accepted Christ as her Savior and Lord. She joined Re-Birth Mis- sionary Baptist Church in 1994 of which Rev. Zachery Hudson is the Pastor. She served as the Church Clerk as well as being a part of many other auxiliaries. Mother Stowe later became a member of Heritage Christian Community Baptist Church under the tutelage

Deacon Julious C. Shine transi- tioned to his Heavenly home on Fri- day, July 31, 2020, in Mobile, Alabama. The family of Julious would like family and friends to join them as they celebrate the memo- ries of his life on Saturday, Septem- ber 5, 2020, at 1 p.m., at Giddens Park, 5202 N. 12th Street, Tampa, FL 33603.
Julious was born to the union of Adrian I (deceased) and Mattie Shine in Tampa, FL on December 11, 1957. He was the 4th of 8 children.
Julious was a loving, kind- hearted, caring man that showed unconditional love and always en- couraged everyone that came in contact with him.
Julious accepted Christ as his personal Savior at an early age, while attending New Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, Rev. Dr. H. L. Daniels, pastor.
Julious attended Hillsborough County Public Schools, graduating from Chamberlain High School, in 1977. Julious was on the track and field team. During that time, he set and held many records in the 440 hurdles, earning himself a scholar- ship, which he chose to attend col- lege at the University of Alabama.
While attending college, he would meet and marry the love of his life, Angela.
He later returned to Tampa and was employed with the City of Tampa Parks and Recreation De- partment, serving at the Riverview Terrace and Riverfront Parks until 1992.
Julious then moved to Alabama, where he was employed with the
City of Mobile for 23 years. His health began to decline and he re- tired in 2016.
After retiring, Julious worked in his purpose, the track and field program. Coach Shine, as he was af- fectionately called, tirelessly men- tored young athletes. He touched so many lives. He was an inspiration and encouraged many.
Julious was preceded in death by: his father, Adrian Shine, I; par- ents-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Luma (Leola) Rocker; grandmother, Mil- dred Jordan; aunts, Yolanda War- mack, Geraldine Brown, and Lagertha Jones; and uncles, Ran- dall and Robert Jordan.
Julious leaves to cherish his memories: his devoted wife of 36 years, Angela Rocker Shine; mother, Mattie Shine; 2 daughters, Chandra (Dominique) Williams, and Ryan (D’Andre) Day; 2 beauti- ful granddaughters that adored him, Kyleigh and Dalainey Day; 5 brothers, Renice Freeman, Adrian (Regina) Shine, II, Michael Shine, I, Heyward (Alice) Shine, and Timo- thy (Angela) Shine; 2 sisters, Mary Shine Jenkins (Keith), and Brenda Shine-Harris; 2 brothers-in-law, Randy and Steven Rocker; uncles, Rumel Jordan, Curtis Brown, Bernard Jordan and Tony Jordan; nephews, Adrian Shine, II, Aquil Hilarie, Jalen Workman, Michael Shine, II, Desmond Shine, Wayne Shine, Sr., Roland Oliver, Jr., Jonathan Oliver, Eugene J. While serving at Heritage, Mother Stowe was given the honor to organize the Mothers Ministry. As a leader she followed spiritual guidelines and always following the Holy Spirit.
Delbra was employed as a Pharmacy Tech at Tampa General Hospital for many years; she also was employed by the Hillsborough County School District. In her pas- time she would write, recite po- etry and read. She was also a great orator.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Lee and Miriam Sharpe; grandparents, James and Izeal Brooks and brother, Corey Gorden.
