Omari Hardwick aka Power’s Ghost
The premise of Starz’s break- out show Power has made the man who plays James St. Patrick (AKA Ghost) Omari Hardwick, a house- hold name.
On the surface, he’s perfect for the role of Ghost because he looks great in a suit and can handle a fight scene or two—he is a former college football player, after all—but his prowess isn’t strictly physical.
According to DuJour.com, while on a hiatus from filming Power, he has been pouring his soul into an album that blurs the lines between singing, po- etry and rap. Hardwick is col- laborating with Josiah Bell, Estelle and Earth Wind and Fire.
Hardwick will also be pro- ducing and acting in a biopic about legendary spoken word artist Gil Scott-Heron. ‘The Revolution Should Be Tele- vised’! How timely is this proj- ect?
Lawyers for the former Death Row Records CEO, Suge Knight had hoped that they would be able to interview informants and witnesses to help build their case, but Knight’s past intimidation tactics will now make that close to impossible.
According to Billboard.com, Judge Ronald Coen made the decision to block the iden- tity of witnesses, last Friday (July 22) following a closed session.
Knight is currently await- ing trial for murder, following a hit-and-run collision last year that led to the death of Terry Carter. As a result of the incident, he faces one count of murder, one count of attempted murder, and two

According to reports, former NFL linebacker Ed Hartwell filed divorce papers in a Fulton County, Georgia courthouse Tuesday morning. He filed the divorce complaint under Edgerton Hartwell II and cited irreconcilable differences.
The decision to split comes less than eight months after he and wife, Keshia Knight Pul- liam’s surprise New Year’s Eve wedding.
At filing, it was reported that pregnant Keshia was not aware that he filed for divorce. She also had no idea Ed simply wanted out of the marriage and to remain single.
The two having a few marital issues did not come as much of a surprise to those who are VERY close to the couple. Sources say they noticed con- stant bickering going on. There marriage was also a surprise
