LeBron Hints At His, Davis’ Return Soon, Says Expect ‘Thunderstorm’
LEBRON JAMES AND ANTHONY DAVIS
Anthony Davis has been out 24 games for the Lakers with a calf strain and Achilles tenderness that Los Angeles is rightfully very cautious about. LeBron James also has missed the last 10 of those games with a high ankle sprain.
The Lakers reserves have gone 4-6 without both stars and kept the team’s head above water — they sit as the five seed as of this writing — but Los An- geles’ schedule gets tougher in the coming weeks, and a red- hot Luka Doncic and Dallas is closing in on them.
When will LeBron and Davis return? LeBron hinted on Instagram it’s coming soon — and to expect a “thunder- storm” when it happens.
Sha’Carri Richardson Runs 10.72, 6th Fastest 100m All-Time
SHA’CARRI RICHARDSON
BEAUTY UNLIMITED
JENEEN
This week’s Beauty Unlimited feature definitely earns a dou- ble-take when you first see her, and Jeneen feels she’s worked hard enough to earn that attention. This young lady makes it look easy to be beautiful, and at the same time ambitious, courageous, and highly motivated. Jeneen feels she’s prepared for whatever lies ahead in her life, and she thinks she has the maturity to with- stand anything. Congratulations to Jeneen for being this Beauty Unlimited week’s feature.
Sha’Carri Richardson
really opened up in her solo season debut. She may have even made herself the favorite to win the 100m at the Olympic Games this year. Richardson ran a 10.72 in the 100m dash at Miramar In- vite.
The former LSU Tiger, a
one-and-done, took the 100m title at the 2019 NCAA Out- door Championships. Since then, she has largely been lowkey. Not anymore.
One of the best things about Richardson is her overall attitude. After the race, the 21-year-old shouted: “I am who I say I am!”
Julius Erving Says Nets Are ‘Buying A Championship’
Alex Rodriguez, Marc Lore Finalizing Deal For Around $1.5B
One Nets franchise legend does not appear to be a fan of the way that the team is doing business these days.
Retired Basketball Hall of Famer Julius Erving ap- peared this week on “Inside the Green Room” with Danny Green. During the episode, Erving reacted to the massive influx of talent to Brooklyn this season.
“It’s reminiscent of how the Yankees used to do it all the time,” said Erving, per Dan Roche of NBC Sports Philly. “They load up – they call it ‘buying a champi- onship.’ The Lakers are known for doing that too. They’re getting all these pieces. ... They don’t know at the end of the season what it’s going to look like or what it’s

going to feel like. But they’re going to be formidable. You’ve got a team with six former All- Stars, and three [All-NBA] guys who have been there and succeeded in the playoffs.”
Erving then went on to pick the Philadelphia 76ers, the team that he is more com- monly associated with, to upset the Nets in the postsea- son.
To Buy T-Wolves
ALEX RODRIGUEZ
MLB legend Alex Ro- driguez and Marc Lore are finalizing an agreement to pur- chase the Minnesota Timber- wolves from Glen Taylor, who bought a majority stake of the NBA team in 1994, accord- ing to ESPN's Adrian Woj- narowski.
Wojnarowski reported the price is expected to be "in the $1.5 billion range" and will include the four-time WNBA champion Minnesota Lynx.
Rodriguez and Lore re- portedly signaled a desire to keep the Timberwolves in Min- nesota.
