Hillsborough County To Host Community Forums To Offer Facts On COVID-19 And Vaccinations
Hillsborough County and its community partners are hosting interactive Facebook Live sessions with experts who’ll present the facts about the COVID-19 coronavirus and vaccinations.
The #CrushCOVIDHC Community Conversations are an opportunity for resi- dents to learn more about the vaccines and get answers from local experts.
The upcoming sessions are:
• 5 p. m., April 20: Live panel will address general health screenings during COVID-19
• 5 p. m., April 27: Live
panel will offer input on mental health and managing stress during COVID-19
Each weekly session can be viewed by visiting Face- book.com/hillsboroughfl.
Viewers can submit anonymous questions in ad- vance to publicinput.com/Crush- COVIDQuestions. Local ex- perts will be guests on each program to answer the sub- mitted questions.

The first session was held
April 6th and focused on the virus and its variants, vacci- nations, and the challenges COVID-19 long-haulers ex- perience.
The session on April 13th focused on COVID-19 vacci- nations.
Hillsborough County is hosting this community forum during April’s Na- tional Minority Health Month with its partners in- cluding Moffitt Cancer Cen- ter, the Florida Department of Health in Hillsborough County, and the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay.

The Alabama A&M Bull-
dogs once again remained the No. 1 team in HBCU foot- ball as both the BOXTOROW Coaches and Media Polls were released on Monday, April 12, 2021. The Bulldogs are coming off a 52-43 vic- tory over Jackson State on Saturday and received 14 first place votes in the Coaches poll, four more than last week.
The order of the media poll
remained the same from last week.
Upcoming games in Week 9 that could influence next week’s polls include: No. 3 Southern taking on Gram- bling in Shreveport, LA: No. 2, Arkansas-Pine Bluff host- ing No. 4, Prairie View A&M; and No. 1, Alabama A&M playing Alabama State in Birmingham.
