Beyonce Wins 4 Soul Train Awards
Lloyd Shows His ‘Tru’ Self; Album Drops Dec. 9
Lloyd releases cover art for new album, ‘Tru’.
Veteran R&B singer, Lloyd unveiled the album cover art for his upcoming ‘Tru’ EP, which sees him naked sitting on huge, water-bearing rock in a forest type habitat.
“It was really more of an in- trospective thing,” Lloyd told Complex of the imagery. “Al- though what you see on the outside is a guy who is appar- ently balls-to-the-wall naked in the woods near a waterfall, it’s really a moment for me to con- quer all the fears that I might have had. All the inhibitions, the insecurities that usually exist in a person; to me it’s no exception. Insecurities of the body, being free in a public place.”
The cover was shot in a North Georgia location that is very sentimental to the enter- tainer.
Along with the cover, Lloyd also shared the tracklisting for the 5-track EP, which features 2 Chainz on the title track as well as Rick Ross on “Heav- enly Body.”
‘Tru’ will drop on Dec. 9.

The show ended after Teddy Riley was honored with the Legend Award and performed his hits alongside Doug E. Fresh, Bobby Brown, Tito Jackson, Wreckx-N-Effect and Guy.
With every passing day, the reports on the current mental state of Kanye West get weirder and weirder. The lat- est is that Yeezy is so para- noid he won’t let the doctors who are supposed to be treat- ing him touch him for fear they’re “out to get him.”
West spent Thanksgiving in the hospital with Kim Kar-
dashian by his side.
One thing is for certain,
sleep deprivation and exhaus- tion are probably not the only issues Mr. West is dealing with. That’s not even including all these “sources” that keep telling various outlets different stories. Yeezy was admitted into the hospital on Nov. 21.

Actor Ron Glass, best known for his role on the po- lice sitcom Barney Miller, has died of respiratory failure. He was 71. Glass died on Fri- day night, his agent Jeffrey Leavitt confirmed to CNN. “Ron was a private, gentle and caring man. He was an ab- solute delight to watch on screen. Words cannot ade- quately express my sorrow,” he said.
Glass was nominated for an Emmy for best supporting actor on Barney Miller, which ran from the mid-1970s to 1982. Glass portrayed the
dapper detective with literary chops, Ron Harris, one of a handful of African-Americans on television at the time.
Another generation may have known Glass as “Shep- herd” Derrial Book in the 2002 science fiction series Firefly and its sequel film, Serenity.
Glass was born on July 10, 1945, in Evansville, Ind. He graduated from the University of Evansville, where he re- ceived a Bachelor of Arts dou- ble majoring in Drama and Literature. Glass passed away at home.
During a Queens, New York bus ride in October, Brooklyn rapper Moise Morancy took upon himself to intervene when a 15-year-old girl was being forcibly touched by another bus passenger. His true act of hero- ism has since been recognized by the New York Police Depart- ment with a Good Samaritan Award, which was handed to Morancy on Saturday (No- vember 26).
“Today I was honored by the NYPD with the Good Samaritan Award! I am humbled by this
gesture! Thank you!” he cap- tioned on an Instagram pic of the plaque.
Morancy was detained after saving the young girl however it was Sergeant Johnny J. Hines III of the 112th precinct, who ordered the 21-year-old’s release once they figured out who the real perv was.
“If he never existed, or never joined the force, my perception of police probably wouldn’t have changed until much later in life,” the Chronicles of the Ghetto rapper said.
