On June 6, 2019, Brenda McIntyre congratulated and surprised her husband, Lomax with a ‘Happy Birthday Celebration’ at Carne Chop Steak House in Ybor City. It was an all-white affair.
Lomax attended the monthly union meeting of the National Association of Letter Carriers. He was presented with a pen, Gold Card and a letter from Fredric Rolanda by Tony Diaz (President of Branch 599), for being a member of the union for 50 years.
All reported having a grand time.
The following day, McIntyre was surprised again, when his son, Elder Alvin Fletcher, Sr., was speaker for Sunday worship at the family church, Allen Temple AME Church. (Photos by the McIntyre Family)
