Tampa Native Completes Basic Military Training
A Tampa native has com- pleted basic military training in the U. S. Air Force. Air- man Borthland Murray Jr., participated in his grad- uation ceremony at the Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, in San Antonio, Texas.
Airman Murray com- pleted an intensive, eight- week program that included training in military disci- pline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles

and skills. He also earned four credits toward an Asso- ciate in Applied Science De- gree through the Community College of the Air Force.
A 2015 graduate of King High School, Airman Mur- ray is the son of Borthland R. Murray and Kimberly A. Murray, of Tampa. His siblings are Brianna R. Murray, of Denver, Col- orado, and E-Lisia A. Mur- ray, of Pinellas Park.
