Tyrese Loses Case Against Ex On Traveling Abroad With Daughter
TYRESE And Ex, NORMA
Tyrese may have to let faith soothe his worries over his baby girl.
A judge gave the OK to his ex, Norma Gibson, to take their daughter on a two week trip to the Middle East during spring break (March 27th).
Tyrese had argued that he feared his ex would kidnap his 7-year-old daughter, Shayla, but the judge saw differently and ordered him to hand over her passport.
In contrary, Norma, who is an Israeli citizen, is reportedly tied to L.A., and had no plans of taking her daughter from her father.
Rumors Abound On Why Malik Yoba AKA Vernon Was Killed Off Of ‘Empire’
Malik Yoba (Vernon) and Trai Byers (Andre) on ‘Em- pire’.
Conspiracy theories are fill- ing up the vacuum left behind by the out-of-left-field death of Malik Yoba’s character Ver- non Turner on the “Empire.”
The actor said last week that Fox execs informed co- creator Lee Daniels that "somebody had to die” on the season finale, but Yoba said he didn’t know which party – Fox or Daniels – chose his charac- ter in particular to receive the fatal blow.
There has also been talk that Daniels, who is openly gay, made Vernon that “somebody” to be killed as payback for Yoba accidentally outing co-star Jussie Smol- lett before the actor was ready. Another rumor has drug use as the reason behind Yoba’s forced exit. The Inquisitr.com quoted an unnamed source saying:
“Malik Yoba is back on drugs and he was making everyone on the set uncomfort- able. One star of the show even threatened to quit during the 10th episode, but then they upped their pay to convince them to stay.” Neither Yoba nor Fox have addressed the ru- mors. Fox maintains that Yoba’s character was killed off as part of a planned shakeup heading into Season 2.
Man Throws Beer Bottle At Lil Wayne; Gets Attacked By Fan
Hard' Opens Friday At Theaters
Lil’ Wayne has been hav- ing a rough few weeks. Last week, he threw the mic and walked off the stage during a performance at Nova South- eastern University in Florida after the DJ messed up the order of his playlist and played the wrong version of OT Genasis’ “CoCo.” Sunday night (Mar. 22) a man threw a
beer bottle at him while he was perform- ing at Revolu- tion Live in Fort Laud- erdale, FL.
For a comedy about a wealthy white guy trying to act like a black criminal, "Get Hard" achieves two impres- sive feats. It squeezes a fair amount of laughs and, equally surprising, manages to be mostly inoffensive.
On both counts, much credit goes to the movie's two appealing stars. Will Ferrell plays James King, a Los An- geles hedge fund manager wrongly convicted of fraud, while Kevin Hart plays Dar- nell, a valet from whom James seeks advice on how to survive in prison. Why Dar- nell? Well, because he's black -- and as James points out, one in three African-American men will serve time in jail. "Statistical analysis," James says smugly, "is what I do."
That's a rare glimmer of sharp comedy in the otherwise broad-humored "Get Hard," which is essentially an ex- tended version of the "get bad" scene in "Stir Crazy," the 1980

Russell Simmons is looking to bring 30 years of hip-hop to the Broadway stage.
It has been reported that Simmons has snagged hip- hop historian Dan Charnas to write the script for The Sce- nario, a musical that will tell the story of the culture with original songs and hip-hop classics. Simmons will pro- duce the musical along with Scott Prisand, who pro- duced the Broadway play Rock of Ages.

prison comedy with Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor. Most of the Ferrell-Hart routines are simple slapstick - - weightlifting, self-defense training and so on. Only a few scenes involving a crew of gangbangers (led by rapper Tip "T.I." Harris as Rus- sell) portray Ferrell as a specifically Caucasian fish out of water. The fact that Dar- nell is not really a former felon but a squeaky-clean fam- ily man is a gentle twist. "Get Hard" opens at the box office Friday.

‘Independence Day 2’
Jay-Z’s Paternity Case May
Vivica A. Fox has joined the cast of “Independence Day 2” to reprise her role as Jasmine Dubrow from the 1996 original.
Jeff Goldblum, Liam Hemsworth, Jessie Usher and Charlotte Gainsbourg have already been cast in the sequel, under returning director Roland Emmerich. 20th Century Fox has set the release date for June 24, 2016 — nearly 20 years after the original.
As previously reported, “Survivor’s Remorse” star Jessie Usher was cast ear- lier this month in the lead

role, playing the son of Will Smith’s Steven Hiller character from “Indepen- dence Day.” Smith is not ex- pected to appear in the sequel.
Back in February, a 21- year-old man named Rymir Satterthwaite came forward alleging that he was Jay Z’s love child and that Jay had been doing everything in his power to avoid taking a pater- nity test. Now, the case may be settling out of court.
“Ultimately the case will probably be settled out of court,” Lillie Collie, Sat- terthwaite’s legal guardian, said. “We’ve been going through this since 2011 and it has gotten to the point where the family just wants it to be over.”]

Kendrick Lamar Engaged?
Adding to her already-im- pressive list of honors and awards, Grammy-Award win- ning artist Alicia Keys will be honored at the Grammy’s On the Hill Awards next month.
Keys will receive the Recording Artists' Coalition Award “for her artistry, phi- lanthropy and her passion for creators' rights as a founding member of The Academy's brand-new GRAMMY Cre- ators Alliance," said Record- ing Academy President/CEO Neil Portnow.
"We know that she will bring the same dedication to creators' rights as she does to her global philanthropic ef- forts." The Recording Artists' Coalition Award is named for

It will be hosted by five- time Grammy nominee Hunter Hayes and take place on Wednesday, April 15, at the Hamilton Live in Washington, D.C.
Congratulations might be in order for Kendrick Lamar, who has reportedly gotten engaged to his long- time girlfriend, Whitney Al- ford.
The engagement rumors were fueled when Lamar was recently seen out and about with Alford, who was wearing what appeared to be a large diamond ring on her engagement finger.
Lamar, 27, has kept his relationship with Alford out of the spotlight since his rise to fame in 2011, but the rap- per has addressed their ro- mance during several interviews in the past.
It is believed that Lamar and Alford are high school sweethearts and have been

dating for more than 10 years.
If the engagement rumors are true, then it is not all Lamar has to celebrate at the moment as his second album, To Pimp A Butterfly, has soared to the top of the UK charts this week. Lamar knocked off Sam Smith's unstoppable album, In The Lonely Hour, to the top spot by an additional 572 copies.
