Buccaneers Bring Bowers Back For Tonight’s Game Against Rams
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have a short week to prepare for tonight's game in St. Louis. On Tuesday, the Buccaneers addressed a bruised defensive line by re-signing Da'Quan Bowers and waiving rookie defensive end Josh Shirley.
Bowers was Tampa Bay's second-round pick in 2011. An All-American defensive end, he eventually settled in as an interior lineman for the Bucca- neers, and that's where the team needs help at the mo- ment. Starting defensive tackle Akeem Spence suffered an ankle injury in Sunday's game against New Orleans and would not have been able to participate in practice on Mon- day, according to the official injury report the team had to file in advance of Thursday's game in St. Louis.
Bowers (6-4, 288) most re- cently played for the Bucca- neers during the 2015 preseason, appearing in all four games and recording six tackles, one sack, one tackle for loss and two quarterback pressures. He was released

during the NFL's final round of roster cuts in early September. During his first four seasons with the Buccaneers, Bowers played in 50 games and made 10 starts, overcoming a knee injury sustained at the very end of his college career. His career stats include 66 tackles, seven sacks and six passes de- fended.

Was it another teammate’s greed that prompted New York Giants’ Damontre Moore to tackle him during an otherwise festive occasion? Or did Moore see the writing on the wall?
Whatever the reason, Moore, a defensive end, was released by the team Friday after getting into a fight with defensive tackle Cullen Jenk- ins on Thursday over a pair of blue Beats by Dre headphones, reports the New York Daily News.
The incident occurred as the team’s star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. was handing out the headphones as a gift to players before practice. The wireless headphones retail for about $380 at the Apple store, but it's unclear which version Beckham distributed.
Jenkins reportedly grabbed two for his daughters and took them to his car, reports NJ.com. The move apparently didn’t sit well with Moore and an altercation erupted between the two men, each of whom

The dismissal was a last straw of sorts for Moore, notes the report. “He had been fined ‘many times’ this season for disciplinary reasons,” a source told the Daily News, adding, “This wasn’t the first time he had an altercation with a team- mate.”
Without providing more de- tails, Giants General Manager Jerry Reese said, “We made the move today in the interest of both parties.”

Lamar Odom Was The #1 Person Googled In 2015
Lamar Odom’s near death at a Las Vegas brothel propelled him to #1.
You don’t have to Google “most searched terms of 2015” to find out what people were most interested in this year; the search engine has compiled lists of the top trending searches in the year that was.
Lamar Odom topped the list of trending general searches for the past year, beating out this summer’s blockbuster hit Jurassic World. American Sniper, Caitlyn Jenner, and Ronda Rousey rounded out the top five.
Odom also came in No. 1 on Google’s list of the top trending people for the year (not includ- ing deaths, the company notes), ahead of Jenner, Rousey, Trump, Ruby Rose, and Charlie Sheen.
