rived on the
scene of a hit-and-run crash with injuries on Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard, just west of the I-4 overpass. A silver Nissan Altima and a white Oldsmobile Aurora were involved.
Deputies said the Oldsmo- bile left the scene prior to their arrival. EMS advised a deputy of a wrong-way driver, saying they were told of a white 4-door sedan that went over the me- dian and traveled east in the west lanes and corrected itself underneath the overpass. The vehicle then parked at the BP Gas Station, 6605 MLK, Jr. Boulevard.
A deputy made contact with the vehicle with front end dam- age attempting to leave the parking lot. The driver of the Nissan Altima positively identi- fied Tamika Davis as the driver of the white Oldsmobile involved in the crash.
Davis, 36, was arrested and charged with driving with a sus- pended license, and leaving the scene of a crash with injury.

Tampa Police report that the man in Wednesday morning’s carjacking in Tampa was arrested in Pinellas County at Indian Rocks Beach Park.
Police said Antwon Tillery, 35, threatened a woman with a knife as she was preparing to take her 8-year-old daughter to school in front of their home in West Tampa.
The mother and daughter were able to get out of the car without being in- jured, and the man drove off. Tampa Police responded to the area and con- ducted a search for the stolen vehicle and also issued an alert.

Teenager Accused Of Tying Dog Near Tracks Facing Gun Charge
Tampa Police arrested 18- year-old Natwan Callaway on gun charges Saturday morning at his home.
When Callaway was 17, he was one of four young men arrested after police rescued a pit bull mix that had been shot and tied to railroad tracks in Sulphur Springs. Callaway accepted a plea deal on that charge that included 7 months jail time and 4 years proba- tion, as well as being ordered to serve 150 hours of commu- nity service work and pay $1,000 in restitution.
Now, police say Callaway is accused of using a gun to threaten a childhood friend at a party over the weekend. He is being held without bond on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, carry- ing a concealed firearm, bat- tery, and misdemeanor possession of marijuana.
According to police re- ports, last Friday night, offi- cers responded to a call at 8211 North Brooks after Herbert Washington had gotten into a fight with Callaway and Alexander Hollinger, III.
Police said both men pulled handguns from their

waistbands, pointed them at Washington and threatened to kill him as a group of people looked on.
Police said Callaway and Washington have known each other since they were kids and Washington was not cooperating with police.
Callaway is also charged with violating probation on the incident involving the dog.
Hollinger, 20, was ar- rested and charged with ag- gravated assault with a deadly weapon, carrying a concealed weapon and battery.
A judge has ordered Call- away to undergo a compre- hensive psychological evaluation and receive any psychological or anger treat- ment recommended.
