All About You!
Happy Anniversary
‘Bishop Bullwinkle’ Honored
BY LEON B. CREWS Sentinel Staff Writer
For those of you who know Bishop Bullwinkle through his release, “Hell To The Naw Naw,” or saw him per- form at the Water Works Park last year, there should be no surprise that this man has been touring all over the coun- try.
During one of his touring stops in Mississippi, Bishop Bullwinkle was surprised when he was presented the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drum Major Award, and named “Mississippi Entertainer of the Year.”
“To be enjoying all of this success this late in my life is a blessing,” said Bishop Bull- winkle.
“I never thought I’d live to be 21, or see 65 to get a check. Now, it seems my life is start- ing over. Everyone doesn’t get a second chance.”
Bishop Bullwinkle
(Bernard Thomas) has been around entertainers his entire life, and won a pair of amateur contests at the Apollo Theater in New York City.
“Mygoalistohelpalotof young people get started. All I got growing up was a switch. But, I know talent and I want to help develop that skill.
“I’m building a recording studio, and I want to reach out to the young and old and show them all that it’s never too late.”
Bishop Bullwinkle is booked for the entire year and is in demand to appear at other events, both nationally and in- ternationally.

His Mind
Lord, I pray for Your protection on my husband’s mind. Shield him from the lies of the enemy. Help him to clearly discern between Your voice and any other, and show him how to take every thought captive as You have instructed us to do. May he thirst for Your Word and hunger for Your truth so that he can recognize wrong thinking. Lord, You have given me authority over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). By that authority given to me in Jesus Christ I command any lying spirits away from my husband’s mind. I proclaim that You, God have given (husband’s name) a sound mind.
Though we walk in the flesh, we do not war accord- ing to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strong- holds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bring- ing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. 2 CORINTHIANS 10:3-5
Lord, I pray that my husband will not entertain con- fusion in his mind, but will live in clarity. Keep him from being tormented with impure, evil, negative, or sinful thoughts. Enable him to be transformed by the renewing of his mind (Romans 12:2). Help him to be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving let his requests be made known to You; and may Your peace, which sur- passes all understanding, guard his heart and mind through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7). And finally whatever things are true, noble, just, pure, lovely of good report, having virtue, or anything praiseworthy, let him think on these things (Philippians 4:8).
To be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. ROMANS 8:6
