Warriors' Kevin
Ex-NBA Star Lamar Odom Admits To Using Prosthetic Penis To Cheat Olympic Drug Test
   Durant To Miss Games
3 And 4 Vs. Blazers
Warriors star Kevin Durant will miss the up- coming Games 3 and 4 of the Western Conference finals in Portland as he continues to recover from a strained right calf, and the timing of his next examination by doctors likely means he would not return until the NBA Finals if Golden State advances.
Durant was re-evaluated Thursday before Golden State's 114-111 win in Game 2 of the best-of-seven series with the Trail Blazers that put the Warriors up 2-0. Du- rant is not ready for on- court work — a necessary step before the two-time reigning NBA Finals MVP can return to game action. He will be re-examined in another week.
The Warriors said Du- rant "has shown good progress since beginning his rehabilitation program one week ago. At this point, Du- rant is not ready to advance

to on-court work." Durant's 34.2 points per
game lead all postseason scorers. He strained his right calf during the third quarter of Game 5 of the conference semifinals against the Rock- ets last Wednesday and did- n't travel to Houston for the Warriors' Game 6 clincher. He then sat out Game 1 against Portland on Tuesday and again Thursday as Stephen Curry took on a greater scoring load.
Former NBA Sixth Man of the Year and two-time cham- pion Lamar Odom revealed in his upcoming memoir, "Darkness to Light," that he cheated a drug test in order to play for USA Basketball at the 2004 Olympics in Athens.
In an excerpt of the mem- oir, Odom writes that being offered a spot on the team was “one of the biggest hon- ors in my career.” However, “the joy of being named to the twelve-man roster quickly turned to anxiety when Olympic officials informed me that I would have to pass a drug test before officially join-

ing the team,” he writes. Odom, who says he was
"smoking weed every day that summer," then began to search online for a solution.
“We started googling ‘fake penises’ and studied different ways to beat a drug test,” he writes.
So he ordered one, and though he "was paranoid it wouldn’t work,” he says he used it — filled with his trainer's urine — and passed the test.
“(An official) stuck a ther- mometer in the cup to gauge the temperature ... satisfied that the pee was mine, said ‘Welcome to Team USA,’ ” Odom writes.
Judge Rules Robert Kraft Spa Video Cannot Be Used In Court
  With Season On The
New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft scored a major victory in his solicita- tion of prositution case on Monday, as a judge ruled that the video of him allegedly re- ceiving illegal sex acts inside a day spa in Florida cannot be used as evidence in the trial.
A judge ruled that investi- gators illegally obtained the video evidence against Kraft, which is why it cannot be used.
Kraft’s lawyers will now likely file a motion to have the case dismissed, as prosecu- tors had cited the surveillance footage as their main evi- dence all along.
who run the day spa that Kraft went to filed court doc- uments last month claiming prosecutors have already leaked the video and it is being shopped to media out- lets. Kraft’s lawyers have built their case around the idea that the surveillance footage was illegally obtained.
Kraft is facing two charges of solicitation of prostitution, and he has already rejected a plea deal that would have seen the charges dropped. The case has taken a signifi- cant turn from where it began, and it appears more likely that the charges will be dismissed.

Through Rib Injury
Portland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lil- lard revealed Sunday that he suffered a separated rib in Game 2 of the Western Con- ference Finals, but he said he will continue to play through the injury.
Lillard confirmed the rib injury, which is on his left side, to reporters Sunday after its existence was first reported Saturday night. He said he sustained the injury in the third quarter of Game 2, during a collision with Golden State Warriors for- ward Kevon Looney, but it hasn't limited his shot or movement.
"Not really. Just the pain, just from having a separated rib," Lillard told reporters. "There's nothing you can re- ally do about it. Just when I get winded, it's a little harder to breathe. Contact, when you're in there banging with

guys, just normal stuff." Lillard scored 19 points in Portland's 110-99 loss to the Warriors on Saturday, and shot just 27.8% from the floor. He has not appeared on the team's injury report, and coach Terry Stotts said he didn't know about the severity of the injury before the reports emerged Satur-
day night.
