‘John Wick: Chapter 3’ Fires Up $57M Series High Opening

All-in global debut is at $92.2M. That’s the highest opening for Lionsgate since November 2015’s The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2‘s $102.6M. The threequel, which is not a victim of three- quelitis at the box office in any way shape or form, earned an A- CinemaScore, the same grade as John Wick: Chapter 2.
John Wick 3 is also very strong on PostTrak, with 4 1/2 stars and a 75% definite rec- ommend.
Also helping John Wick: Chapter 3 — that 89% fresh Rotten Tomatoes score.

received quite a surprise dur- ing an event in South Africa.
The 71-year-old actor was drop-kicked by a man while he was chatting with fans at the jump-rope competition for the Arnold Classic Africa in Jo- hannesburg on Saturday. In a video shared on Twitter, a man rushes behind Schwarzenegger and kicks him in the back. The actor then stumbles forward as se- curity quickly detains the man.

about. I thought I was just jos- tled by the crowd, which hap- pens a lot," Schwarzenegger later tweeted. "I only realized I was kicked when I saw the video like all of you. I’m just glad the idiot didn’t interrupt my Snapchat."
The Terminator actor con- tinued by tweeting that "in- stead of sharing the video of the guy who wants to be fa- mous, watch some of our @ArnoldSports athletes like this young hero proving that fitness is for everyone who de- serve to be famous. They’re on my Snapchat."
