Ravens Waive Offseason Pickup
Dallas Cowboy LB’s Addiction To ‘Purple Drank’ May End His Career
Rolando McLain may lose his job with the Dallas Cow- boys due to substance abuse.
Dallas Cowboys linebacker Rolando McClain is report- edly 40 pounds overweight and addicted to codeine and Sprite aka “purple drank.”
The report originally came from Bleacher Report and is now circulating online. Mc- Clain is already in risk of los- ing his job as he is currently serving a 10-game suspension for violating the NFL’s sub- stance abuse policy once al- ready.
McClain has been in the news a lot. In December 2015, his home in Alabama was de- stroyed by an arson fire. Mc- Clain’s home was vacant at the time of the fire, and was up for sale.

Trent Richardson, Former No. 3 Pick
The Baltimore Ravens on Tuesday waived running back Trent Richardson, ending what might have been the for- mer first-round pick's last op- portunity to return to the NFL.
Richardson, 26, the No. 3 pick in the 2012 draft, has been on four teams in the past four seasons and has not played in the league since 2014. His career average is 3.3 yards per carry.
Despite bouncing around from Cleveland to Indianapo- lis to Oakland, Richardson was confident in his chance to get his career back on track. In June, Richardson said his story would end by "putting on a yellow jacket," referring to the Pro Football Hall of
TRENT RICHARDSON
Fame.
Still, Richardson lasted
only three months with the Ravens because of the same conditioning and injury issues that have marred his career. A hamstring injury sidelined him for the first week of off- season workouts, and a knee scope caused him to start training camp on the physi- cally unable to perform list.
LeBron James is slated to play the lead in the upcom- ing sequel to the massively successful 1996 film Space Jam, which originally starred Michael Jordan and Bugs Bunny.
Jordan, however, stated his preference for another NBA star to take on the role while answering questions at his Jordan Flight school this past weekend. “I would prob- ably pick Blake Griffin,” the legendary basketball player told the crowd after being asked who he would
choose for the leading role. The 27-year-old Los An- geles Clipper previously starred in a Jordan Brand commercial alongside Space Jam character Marvin the Martian and is also an am- bassador for the company. As of now, Space Jam 2 will move forward with LeBron James likely playing the role of the Tune Squad’s leader and Fast & Furious director, Justin Lin overseeing the
filming of the movie.
So far the rest of the cast
hasn’t been announced.
