IN MEMORIAM
MINISTER BEAUFORT A. BROWN, JR. Educator and Coach For Over 40 Years
May 1953 – August 2015
You touched and blessed many lives tremendously! We miss your physical presence intensely!
We cherish your memory immensely!
We love your beautiful spirit eternally!
Loving widow, Barbara; children: Beaufort, III (Laila), Brandon, and Briahna; faithful family and friends.
If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane
I would walk right up to Heaven and bring you back again.
No farewell words were spoken
No time to say good- bye
You were gone before I knew it and only God knows why
My heart still aches with sadness
And secret tears still flow
What it meant to love you
No one can never know.
But, now I know you want me
to mourn for you no more;
To remember all the happy times
Life still has much in store.
Since you’ll never be forgotten
IN MEMORIAM
I pledge you today
A hollowed place within my heart is where you’ll always stay.
Missing
than words: Dad, Mom, Chris, Trey, Taylor, Joshua, and family.

Residential Landlords Must Register Under New Ordinance
To ensure that residential rental units within the City meet minimum housing standards, the City embarked upon a Residential Rental Registration Ordinance called Rent It Right Tampa.
The Ordinance was a col- laborative effort of the Great Tampa Association of Real- tors, the Bay Area Apartment Association and the City of Tampa.
Unique features of the Ordinance allow for the property owner landlords to inform the City of the contact
information for the tenant and what the tenant respon- sibilities are under the lease agreement.
Recently, 29,000 notices were mailed to property owners advising them of the Rent It Right Tampa Ordi- nance.
The Ordinance requires property owner landlords who offer residential rentals, or who rent 1-4 units to com- plete a no fee/no cost regis- tration on line at tampagov.net/rentalcert. Annual registration is re-
quired and there are sanc- tions for noncompliance.
Also, within the on line site, property owner land- lords are provided with ap- plicable City codes to assist them in ensuring and main- tain compliance.
For the City ensuring compliance helps to prevent blighted areas and reduce in- cidence of crime and emer- gency services calls.
