New Year’s Resolutions:
Residents Share Those You Can Keep

Making New Year’s Res- olutions is nothing new to society. In fact, the history of making resolutions dates back more than 4,000 years.
The ancient Babylonians are credited with launching the tradition. Later in his- tory, for the early Christians the first day of the new year became the traditional occa- sion for thinking about one’s past mistakes and re- solving to do and be better in the future.
