ATTY. CAROLYN HOUSE STEWART ...Resigns Interim CEO Position with HART
Atty. Carolyn House Stewart on Monday (Sept. 28th), resigned from the In- terim Chief Executive Officer position she has held with Hillsborough Area Regional Transit Authority for more than a year. She will however, remain in the position as the director of Risk and Legal de- partments for HART.
According to published re- ports, Atty. Stewart emailed a one-sentence resignation email on Monday.
She had served as the In- terim CEO since November, 2019. Efforts to name her as the permanent CEO, fell short of support. Even an attempt to raise her interim salary fell short of support.
The HART Board is doing a national search to name a new CEO.
TIA Offering COVID-19 Test To Arriving And Departing Passengers
First airport in the nation to offer the testing
Tampa International Airport announced Monday that it will soon begin offering COVIC-19 testing to arriving and de- parting passengers. It is the first airport in the nation to offer the testing.
TIA is partnering with BayCare to offer the tests from Oc- tober 1 to October 31, 2020, 7 days a week. The two types of tests are swab and rapid antigen.
Testing is voluntary and there is a fee.
Pre-Apprenticeship Program
AMI Kids is offering a free Pre-Apprenticeship Program for those between the ages of 16 and 24 years old.
The program provides free access to Construction Trade Registered Apprenticeship Programs (RAP), and free job shadowing, mentoring, academics and support services.
