 Local Rapper’s Love Of Music And ‘Never Give Up’ Attitude Is Opening Doors For Him

DeQuan (Deke) Moody seems like a regular guy. He goes to work every day, working 10 hours a day to support his family. However, look a lit- tle closer and you will see a man who is serious about his music.
Deke has always had a love for music, writing lyrics, and putting tracks down after a long day’s work. That said, he worked on songs for years, however the last few years he’s gotten more ex- perience and exposure in the rap game and a recent performance opening for Mike Smiff with Slip ‘N Slide Records has him well on his way.

again as Moody is ready to release his new song. His new single, “I Don’t Kno” will premiere on Friday, October 2, 2020 on Facebook and Moody’s YouTube channel. He will be streaming on all channels and he invites fans to like, comment, and share his video. He is @DekeMoody on both Instagram and Facebook.
The next day on October 3, the offi- cial video release party will take place at Teaser’s Gentlemen’s Club. Tickets are available now. The party will be from9p.m.to3a.m.andwillfeature Mike Smiff and Rondo Smiff as spe- cial guests along some local artists.
