  COACH Virtual Juneteenth Celebration Reaches Over 2K Attendees
 In honor of Juneteenth, COACH Foundation, Inc. held its 8th Annual June- teenth Celebration virtually on Saturday, June 27th.
The event’s theme of “Ad- vance The Culture” was evi- dent as speakers presented on empowering topics, in- cluding Politics and Black Power, Paths of Economic Freedom, and the Vegan Soul Food Plate for Health.
The online event hosted by Joy Dixon reached over 2,600 viewers across the United States. Guest speak- ers included: Senator Dar- ryl Rouson, Brittney Geathers, Outreach Strate- gist; Santra Denis, Interim Executive Director of the Miami Worker Center, and Brandon Upson, who is the Founder and Executive Director of Amplify Action, a nonprofit focused on the civic, education and political mobilization of Black men.
The highlights of the Eco- nomic Freedom segment were from Wealth Manage- ment Advisor, Ayo Tillman, who provided tangible tips on building generational

In addition, audiences re-
ceived entrepreneurial in- sight from Black Enterprise’s Franchisee of the Year and real estate developer, Anto- nio McBroom. Joy Dixon, co-founder of Or- derUpVegan, surprised at- tendees during her presentation on the ease of a vegan lifestyle and food demonstration of vegan fried chicken. Dixon provided closing re- marks and thanked atten- dees for joining the 2020 Juneteenth Celebration. “We were already amazed with the turnout of our in-person Juneteenth events, but were completely blown away by the thousands who were reached because we pivoted to an online celebration be- cause of COVID-19,” re- marked Rev.     Hillsborough Launches Online Registration For COVID-19 Testing
 Hillsborough County res- idents can now make ap- pointments online for free COVID-19 coronavirus test- ing.
Online appointments can be made at hcflgov.net/ covidtesting. Residents can pick a day and time con- venient to them at one of seven locations throughout the county. The online reser- vation system will allow resi- dents to avoid waiting on the phone for a call center agent and should reduce the time on hold for those making reservations by phone.
A phone option is still available. To make reserva- tions by phone, call (888) 513-6321.
Though the tests are free, appointments are required. No doctor’s refer- ral is needed, and insurance is not required. The appoint- ment availability window will typically be about two weeks.

• Plant City Community Resource Center, 307 N. Michigan Ave., Plant City
• SouthShore Community Resource Center, 201 14th Ave. SE, Ruskin

Residents are reminded to follow the process to undergo a test: Make an appointment, and if a test result comes back positive, do not make a fol- low-up appointment for at least two weeks. Additionally, residents should wait for the results of a test before coming back for another test.
