East Tampa CRA Tree Trimming Grant Program
The East Tampa Commu- nity Redevelopment Area (CRA) is now offering a new Tree Trimming Grant Program to help residential property owners and tenants improve the safety of their homes and property.
The purpose of the pro- gram is to assist residents in addressing overgrown and un- safe trees before storms and winds create a hazard. Eli- gible applicants can apply for up to $2,500 for trimming trees on private single-family residential property.
“As the East Tampa Com- munity Redevelopment Area (CRA) Manager, I’m extremely proud of the hard work that Ms. Natasha Goodley, Chairperson of the Commu- nity Advisory Committee, and the members of the board dis- played over the past several months in developing this ex- citing “Residential Tree Trim- ming Grant Program.”
“This program will go a long way in providing the nec- essary funding to assist East Tampa residents with long overdue tree maintenance that will eventually create a better safety condition and upkeep of residential properties through- out the community,” he said.
