Suspect Arrested In Fatal Stabbing Incident
Pasco County Sheriff’s detectives have arrested Al- freddie Elmonise, 32, and charged him in the Feb- ruary 2nd murder of Ri- cardo Hernandez.
Elmonise has been ar- rested and charged with first-degree murder.
The incident is still being investigated by detectives who are looking for more suspects who were involved in a triple shooting. One vic- tim is critical, and the oth- ers reportedly received non-life threatening in- juries.

Arrest Made In Shootings
Tampa Police have ar- rested and charged a 45- year-old man in a fatal stabbing incident.
On Friday night at 11:15 p. m., Tampa Police were called to 905 East 20th Avenue on a report of a stabbing.
Dannie Lee Mathis was arrested and charged in the incident. The victim’s name has not been released, and the incident is still under in- vestigation to determine the motive for the stabbing inci- dent.

Man Found Guilty Of Crack Cocaine Sale, Possession
The Pasco County Sher- iff’s Office and Crime Stop- pers have issued an alert for J’Rokton Williams, 26. Williams is being sought for attempted murder of a law enforcement officer as the result of an incident that occurred Saturday at 8:30 p. m.
Deputies were near State Road 52 in Hudson when they tried taking Williams into custody for an out- standing warrant when he
reportedly put his car in re- verse and sped towards one of the deputies.
Williams reportedly fled in a 2008 Infiniti G37 2- door, purple (chameleon) in color, with Florida Tag #EBKB19.
Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $3,000 for information that leads to the location and arrest of Williams. Anyone with in- formation is asked to call 1- 800-873-8477.
The U. S. Attorney’s Office reported Friday that a St. Pe- tersburg man was convicted of cocaine trafficking, and is facing a maximum sentence of life in prison.
Tony Donnell Mathis,
48, was found guilty by a jury of possessing crack cocaine with intent to distribute and being a felon in possession of a firearm. A sentencing hear- ing has been scheduled for April 26th.
According to evidence and testimony presented at his trial, Mathis operated a drug house, and was in pos- session of a loaded firearm, a distribution quantity of crack cocaine, and body armor. He was arrested by police Sep- tember 25, 2014, and in- dicted in December 2014.

Suspect Sought For Attempted Murder Of Law Enforcement Officer
Three Grant Writing Workshops Planned
The Center for Non-Profit and Commu- nity Development and the National Institute for Strategic and Tactical Planning will host free professional grant-writing workshops during the month of November. The work- shops will take place on three separate dates.
The first workshop this month will take place on Tuesday, February 16th, from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. It will be held at the West Tampa Public Library, 2312 W. Union Street.
The second workshop will take place at the Children’s Board of Hillsborough County, 1002 E. Palm Avenue, on Saturday, February 27th, from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The final workshop of the month will take place on Monday, February 29th, at the Children’s Board of Hillsborough County, 1002 E. Palm Avenue, from 2 p.m. until 3:30 p.m.
The National Institute for Strategic and Tactical Planning workshops will describe
the different types of grants available; de- scribe the different types of grantors; iden- tify research tools available to those seeking grants; describe the fundamental of grant writing; describe the proposal writing process; describe the concept paper, letter of intent, and letter of inquiry process, and identify grant terms.
