Accident Murderers
ike most people, I
would assume, I'm not a big fan of stupidity and igno- rance. Due to how much I truly despise that type of be- havior, I try to stay as far away as I can from individu- als who display those two characteristics.
The problem is that we live in a world where igno- rance and stupidity rule the day. The current environ- ment is so toxic that you can barely engage in everyday ac- tivities without, somehow, being affected by those who have nothing else better to do than to bring their foolish- ness into your orbit.
This is basically what happened when a shootout occurred outside of the Ray Williams Funeral Home re- cently. Apparently, two rival groups, who were attending different wakes within the es- tablishment, became en- gaged in an altercation that eventually exploded in the funeral home's parking lot and on an adjacent street.
Fortunately, no one was seriously injured as a result of the melee. But the incident was another reminder of just how vulnerable a person can be in a public setting if he or she is anywhere in the vicin- ity of brainless nitwits who can't seem to think straight.
When I was first con-
tacted and told about the shooting I was so blown away by what I was hearing that I could only utter two words.... "My people." To be honest, it was actually a single word. But it would be politically in- correct and highly inappro- priate to print that type of vulgar phrasing in this space.
It was hard for me to wrap my head around the idea that anyone, regardless of how "gangsta" they think they are, could bring them- selves to act up in such wild fashion inside of a place as solemn as a funeral home. Not only is it a location where people are mourning their loss but, if a person is there, it most likely means he's accompanied by mem- bers of his own family. With that being the case, it makes you wonder what kind of in- dividual puts his anger above his own loved ones' safety?
Of course, we all have people we don't like, hate or simply don't get along with, but what I'm curious to know is what underlining conflict was so serious that it would cause the shooters in ques- tion to disrespect the sanctity of their surroundings? I mean what issue could be so important that it had to be addressed in front of "big momma and 'em?"
If the beef was about
money that's not a good enough excuse because, once bullets start flying, any pay- ment due becomes null and void. If it centered around someone talking reckless, utilizing hand-to-hand com- bat is way more effective be- cause it forces your enemy to live with the shame of being on the wrong end of a good ass-whipping.
And if it involved a woman, a shootout is really fruitless due to the fact that, once it's all said and done and one person is dead and the other is locked up, she'll have another man sharing her bed before the guy in jail can make a bond hearing.
When you break it all the way down, there's never a good reason to resort to this level of violence in the streets. But, to those who do, I truly wish that they would, at least, get up close and per- sonal with their targets be- cause shooting into crowds where they could acciden- tally kill innocents is the most cowardly thing ever.
If that's the route they choose, though, I just hope they are aware of the fact that very real consequences come with settling disagreements with pistols. The most seri- ous one involves going to prison for the rest of their lives while the people they were attempting to impress forget they ever existed...

Donald Trump, Bait And Swtich
eople are scratching their heads because it does-
n’t make sense. Less than one week after, Don- ald Trump threatened Iran with “new and terrible weapons,” if it responded to the assassination of its top general. When Iran did indeed, respond militarily, a grizzly bear Trump turned into a pussy cat purring, “All is well,” and “We want peace.”
Is it us or is it something we had for dinner?
One thing that many observers are coming to be- lieve is that Donald Trump believes in one thing: “I win . . . even when I lose, I win!” Either that or the president of the greatest nation in the world is truly
schizophrenic.
Or perhaps, Trump’s turned tail-between-his-legs
was indeed, a well-planned sleight of hand dedicated simply to throw House Speaker Nancy Pelosi a foul ball and knocking her off balance in her uphill trek to impeach the 45th President.
If so, what it shows is Trump and friends are capa- ble of doing anything as long as the result is “WE WIN!”
America is in trouble. A maniac is behind the wheel, and Hell is not a place he doesn’t mind driving us to.
Have An Attitude Of Gratitude In 2020
”Let no foul or polluting language come out of your mouth.”
Ephesians 4:29
Your words can pollute or purify.
If you constantly complain, you release poison into your life.
Complaining is not based on your circumstances; it’s based on the attitude of your heart.
If you keep the right attitude during your time of adversity, God will honor you.
When you have a heart full of gratitude, it leaves no room for complaining.
There is always something to thank God for, no matter what kind of adversity you have in your
life.Start by thanking Him for giving you life and salvation.
Thank Him for the air you breathe and the sunsets you enjoy.
Thank Him for the Promise in His Word that no matter where you are in life, He is leading, guiding
and prospering you.
Decide TODAY to live a life of thanksgiving.
Don’t allow the poison of complaint to prevent you from receiving all God has for you! Live in joy, love, and with gratitude!
A new decade, a new day. Happy New Year!
