Democratic Donor Ed Buck Hit With Second Wrongful Death Suit
Florida Man Arrested for Threatening President Donald Trump On Facebook Live
On the anniversary of his death, Timothy Dean’s family filed a civil lawsuit against Ed Buck, the white Democratic donor, who al- legedly caused his overdose.
The Los Angeles Times re- ports that the suit, filed by Joyce Jackson and Joanne Campbell, alleges that Buck “had a predatory and injurious system of solic- iting black gay men and watching them cling to life while battling symptoms of methamphetamine toxicity after he intravenously admin- istered large doses of the drug to them.”
Dean, 55, was found dead of a drug overdose inside Buck’s West Hollywood home on Jan. 7, 2019.
He was the second Black man in less than two years that died of an overdose at Buck’s home, after Gem- mel Moore, who was found dead in the 65-year-old man’s home in July 2017.
The Times reports the law- suit accuses Buck of sexual battery, assault, hate vio- lence, negligence and inten- tional infliction of emotional distress as well as other

crimes.
Moore’s family filed a
separate civil lawsuit last year, also naming L.A. County and District Attor- ney Jackie Lacey, which is still ongoing.
According to prosecutors, Buck preyed on vulnerable gay Black men who were homeless, addicted to drugs or working as escorts.
The longtime donor to the Democratic Party allegedly lured them to his Laurel Av- enue apartment, where he manipulated them into doing drugs for his sexual gratifica- tion, the Times reports.
Chauncy Lump, a 26- year-old man from South Florida finds himself in lock- down because he threatened President Donald Trump on Facebook Live.
Lump’s provocative, but dumb-ass move, was his re- sponse to Trump’s ordering of the assassination of Iran- ian general Qassem Soleimani who was blown to smithereens in a drone missile strike in Iraq on Jan. 3.
“He killed my leader, and I have to kill him. I am ready for Donald. I am ready,” Lump said, according to the complaint.
“Do Not play with me, I have AK-47, I have it here, do not play with me, okay,” he said before threatening to travel to West Palm Beach, Florida, where Trump was encamped at the Southern White House, Mar-a-Lago.

tried to sell to them, but they weren’t buying and escorted him to lockdown.
Lump was charged with knowingly and willfully mak- ing threats to kill and inflict bodily harm upon the presi- dent of the United States, a federal crime.
It seems Lump didn’t stand a chance. As soon as he went live on his “BlackMan Vs America” page, a Face- book employee tipped off the Secret Service.
Lump told authorities he
had a bachelor’s degree in homeland security from Bethune-Cookman Univer- sity in Daytona Beach, but a background check was run and it was learned that he only completed one semes- ter.
“I shouldn’t have did it in the first place,” he said, ac- cording to the complaint.
The suspect does not ap- pear to have any connections to foreign terrorist organiza- tions, but the investigation is ongoing.
Michelle And Barack Obama Are 'Not
Advising' Prince Harry And Meghan
Sources close to Michelle and Barack Obama tell PEOPLE that reports they have offered advice to — or even been in contact with — Prince Harry and Meghan Markle over their “step back” from the royal family are “totally false.”
“The rumors of them hav- ing anything to do with this are totally false. The former president and first lady are not advising the couple and have not been in contact with them,” says one source close to the Obamas, when asked whether they have been in touch with the royals’ recent, controversial decision.
