CHAMBERLAIN STUDENT SIGNS SOFTBALL SCHOLARSHIP
While she’ll continue her role as an athlete, Lauren Williams will also be working to reach her goal of ob- taining a position in law enforcement. To help along that journey, Lauren signed a softball scholarship last Wednesday to attend Florida International University (FIU). Lauren has been an athlete all of her youthful years. She has played football with a boys’ team in Temple Terrace, basketball and baseball. Joining Lauren at the signing were, from left: Ariahe Salary, cousin; Alexis Williams-Golden, sister; Tommy Williams, father; signee Lauren; Dr. Sherry Smith-Williams, mother; Alexandria Williams, sister; Carolyn Savage, aunt; and Jamal Brown, brother.
