Mr. Ernest William Powell, 57, Probation Officer (Super- visor for the State of Florida.) Thonotosassa, Florida, took his transition on December 8, 2016 at Florida Hospital at Connerton.
He was a graduate of Chiefland High School class of 1977. Ernest attended FSU where he received his Bache- lor’s degree.
Mr. Powell leaves to cherish his love and fond memories: wife, Dorothy Powell; 3 loving children, Frederica Burden, Ernest B. Powell and Do- minique Powell; mother, Coral Lee Powell; mother-in- law, Willie Mae Strickland; 2 sisters, Winnie Jones and Diane Henderson (Tony); 5 brothers, Willie Powell (Cas- sandra), Michael Powell (Car- men), Ernest Bowers (Deborah) and Leanard Allen (Lisa).
The Services of Love and honoring a life well lived will be held on Saturday, Decem- ber17,20162p.m.at Chiefland High School Audito- rium (808 North Main Street), Chiefland, Florida.
Viewing hours will be held at Carnegie Funeral Home in the Wade Greenlee Memorial Chapel Friday, from 5-7 p. m.

MRS. RUTH MCGILVERY- THORNTON
A celebration of life service for Mrs. Ruth McGilvery-Thorn- ton, who passed away peacefully on Friday, December 9, 2016, will be held at the Center For Manifestation, 3102 E. Lake Av- enue, Tampa, FL 33610, Apostle Mark T. Jones, Pastor, on Fri- day, December 16th at 12 noon with Apostle Mark T. Jones offi- ciating.
Mrs. Ruth McGilvery-Thorn- ton was born to Willie Ed Mc- Crae and the late Jewelean McGilvery on May 11, 1962 in Clayton, AL. She was a life-long resident of Tampa, was educated in the public schools of Hillsbor- ough County and was employed by LifePath Hospice for 15 years.
She was preceded in death by: her maternal grandmother, Josie Daniels and mother, Jewe- lean McGilvery.
She leaves to cherish: a loving father, Willie Ed McCrae, and Myrtle Fryer; a very devoted and caring husband, Kenneth Thorn- ton; four daughters, Jennifer Bell and Lee, Lavonda McGilvery and Drick, Laquita Esdaile and husband, Tyshawn, Keaunadra Thornton; two brothers, Larry Glanton and wife, Felicia, Kim McCrae; one sister, Alberta Ward and husband, Eric; grand- children, Janeé, Kevin, Leeah, Russell, Ah’Niya, Spencer, Au- tumn, Tony, Tynae, Harmony, Trinity and Katasia; nieces and nephews, Trenika, Eric, Jr., Amber, Lauren, Bené, Nicole, Kem, Larry, Jr.; one great-aunt, Leola Grubbs; dearest friend, Karen Sturks; and a host of lov- ing relatives and friends.

Mr. Baker, received his edu- cation through the public school system of Hillsborough County. He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior over 20 years ago. Mr. Baker was born in Tampa, on July 2, 1955 to Mr. Joseph, Sr. and Mrs. Nancy Jean Baker. He was one of 8 children.
Mr. Joseph Baker, Jr. was preceded in death by: his father, Mr. Joseph Baker, Sr.; grand- parents, Mr. and Mrs. Zimmer Hair; uncle, Mr. Claudie B. Hair; aunt, Mrs. Willie Mae Green; and nephew, Mr. Erami Conage.

Homegoing services for Mr. Antonio Lamar Bradshaw, who passed away on December 7, 2016, will be held Saturday, De- cember 17, 2016, at 11 a. m. at Dominion Life Faith and Wor- ship Church, 9728 Lewis Road, Thonotosassa, Florida 33592, with Pastor Terrance Reddick, Sr., officiating. Interment will be made in Rest Haven Memo- rial Park.
Antonio was born on Sep- tember 13th, 1982 in Tampa, Florida. He was educated in the Hillsborough County School System receiving his GED from Chamberlain High School. He was self-employed and man- aged “Brad Lawn Care Serv- ices.” He served his family well. He was planning to add a new division to his enterprise, a car wash service.
He was preceded in death by: his mother, Sheila Bullock; brother, James Davis Sr.; grandfather, Mr. Bullock.
He leaves to cherish his fond memories with: his life com- panion, Santanna Watts; her daughters, Tayliah Mullings, Raquel Bradshaw; his loving fa- ther, Milton Roy Bradshaw and his wife, Mattie; five brothers, Ramoan Bullock, Milton An- thony Bradshaw, Quincy Bul- lock, Robert Sessions, Chris Davis; two loving sisters, Kashawna Bradshaw and Kiara Davis; grandmother, Myrtle Blue; aunts, Terry Bullock, Va- lerie Bullock, Latrenda Bul- lock, Neici Bullock, Brenda Best, Opehelia Best, Florence Bradshaw Marchman and hus- band, Otis Marchman, and Cordelia Best; uncles, Aaron Bullock, Ervin Michael Brad- shaw; affectionate nieces, Vermyia, and Jahnica; and many more relatives and friends and business acquain- tances, in this loving group of family and friends, who will surely be praying and remem- bering this loss.
