MR. ROOSEVELT STEVEN BOOKER
A Homegoing Service celebrat- ing the life and memory of Mr. Roosevelt Steven Booker, who passed away on March 2, 2022, will be held Thursday, March 17, 2022, at Mount Calvary Seventh Day Adventist Church, 4902 North 40th Street, Tampa, Florida, 33610, with Pastor Larry Johnson, Eulo- gist, and Associate Pastor Yvette Parham, officiating. Interment will follow in Florida National Cemetery Bushnell, Florida.
Mr. Roosevelt Steven Booker was a native of Manhattan, New York. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and was honorably dis- charged.
He leaves to cherish his mem- ory: his wife, Monica Booker; son, Ke’ron; adopted daughter, Kloe; stepdaughters, Krista and Kim; grandsons Jamir and Jamaury, and Ke’ron, Jr; daughter-in-law, Cynthia; father-in-law, Raymond; brother, Arnold; sisters, Jenny, Stacey, Sandy, and Nikki; aunts, Cora and Lucy; nieces and nephews, cousins, sisters and brothers-in-law, and a host of rel- atives and friends.
Visitation for Mr. Roosevelt Stephen Booker will be held Wednesday evening March 16, 2022, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., at Harmon Funeral Home, 5002 N. 40th St., Tampa, FL 33610.
Friends are asked to assemble at the Church on Thursday, March 17, 2022, at 10:45 a.m.

MRS. SYLVIA FONTENETTE
A Homegoing Mass Celebra- tion for Mrs. Sylvia Fontenette of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Sunday, February 27, 2022, will be held on Saturday, March 12th, 1:00 p.m. at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, 1203 N. Nebraska Avenue, Father Agutinus Seran, SVD, officiating.
Mrs. Sylvia Ledet Fontenette was born to the late Edith Bailey and Joseph Ledet, Jr., on August 06, 1943. “Marie,” as she was af- fectionately called by many, was a beautiful light in this world. The time that she spent in our lives was memorable and filled with com- plete joy. Marie was a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, friend, and a confidant to many people. She was an adven- turer, willing to see the world with her family and friends. She could also put any plant in the ground and make it grow with her love and care.
Marie was a true renaissance woman — she could sew elegant curtains for your home, cater the most elegant events, feed the homeless, sing beautiful music, and served the church faithfully in numerous ways for more than 50 years. She did all of these tasks with incomparable class and an in- fectious smile.
Sylvia Marie left us on Febru- ary 27, 2022, and was welcomed into heaven with love by: her par- ents, Edith Bailey and Joseph Ledet, Sr.; and her brother, John Ledet, Sr.
She leaves to cherish her beau- tiful memory: three sons, Dwayne (Gina), Donovan (Trenise), and Durwin (Loreal); friend and for- mer spouse, Whitney Fontenette of Louisiana; two sisters, Carol Jack- son of Virginia and Linda Allen of Louisiana; a brother, Robert Ledet, Sr., of Wyoming; nineteen grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family re- quest that donations be made to the Knights of Peter Claver, St. Peter Claver Court 379-Henriette deLille Scholarship.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., on Friday, March 11th, from 4:00- 8:00 p.m.

MRS. ZEFFIE DELL MARSHALL
A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Zeffie Dell Marshall of Tampa, Florida,who passed away on Friday, February 25, 2022, will be held on Saturday, March 12th, 10:00 a.m. at Rest Haven Memorial Park Ceme- tery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, Florida, Rev. Michael Neely, offici- ating.
Mrs. +Zeffie Dell Marshall was born to the parentage of Robert Harmon and Annie Bell Harmon, in Jackson, Georgia on March 17, 1939. She was raised in Youngstown, Ohio, by her paternal grandmother and her father.
She accepted Christ at an early age. Zeffie was educated in the Ma- honing County District School Sys- tem. After graduation she married her high school sweetheart, Sgt. Doc Henry Marshall, Sr. To this union two sons were born. After traveling as a military wife, Doc, Sr., sur- prised Zeffie with a trip to Tampa to reacquaint her with her sister.
They fell in love with the Sun- shine State and made Tampa their home. Zeffie enjoyed life she was very kind and generous. There was always a meal and a good time at Zeffie’s. She later became the man- ager at Marcus’s Jamaican Bar until she became part owner of the 5th Av- enue Tavern (The Jamaican Bar).
She could be seen cheering her favorite Cricket team on in Tampa or traveling with the team out of town. Zeffie was a former member of Peace Progressive M. B. Church, under the tutelage of the late Rev. J.C. Goins.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Sgt. Doc Henry Mar- shal, Sr.; and her two sons, Doc Henry Marshall, Jr., and Robert Lee Marshall, Sr.; and her parents; sis- ter, Bernice Stephens; and her grandmother, Hattie M. Harmon.
Zeffie leaves to mourn her pass- ing: a very loving and devoted daughter, Julia Renee Marshall; grandchildren, Robert Lee Mar- shall, Jr., and children, Latisha Marshall, Doc Marshall and family, Juanita Marshall and son, Minnie McDonald, Antonio Daniels and Tavarius Daniels; 2 great grand- sons, Keavon Marshall and Oc- taveon Marshall; 5 sisters, Betty Lou Price, Marsha Walker, Louvella Harmon, Roberta Harmon, and Regina Harmon; 1 brother, Robert Harmon, Jr.; niece and nephew, Linda Washington and Larry Stephens; grandniece, Selena Har- mon; special cousins, Willie Har- mon, Sr., and James Parker, Sr., (Jessie); godson, Rev. Darren M. Watson (Olwyn); special friends, Mother Rogena Lee Glean, Dea. Bernard Jordan, Lafayette Mayes, Clarence Johnson, Dorothy Sipp, the Gilchrist and Lucas families; and a host other sorrowing relatives and friends.
The visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the graveside.

MR. JASPER LLOYD MCFARLANE
A Celebration of Life for Mr. Jasper Lloyd McFarlane of Tampa, Florida, who passed away, Friday, February 25, 2022, will be held Friday, March 11th, 11:00 a.m. at Orange Hill Cemetery, 4900 E. Chelsea Street, Pastor Elder Reuben Sledge, officiating.
Jasper was born December 27, 1942, in Montego Bay, Jamaica, to the late Walter McFarlane and Matilda Williams-Reid. He left Ja- maica around 1973 for a better op- portunity and landed in Tampa, FL. He retired from the City of Tampa after over 20 years of em- ployment.
On February 25th, God called Jasper, a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfa- ther home at the age of 79 years old.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; son, Devon McFar- lane; and daughter, Angeline Mc- Farlane; two brothers of Montego Bay, JA, Elan McFarlane and Noel McFarlane; two sisters of Mon- tego Bay, JA, Peggy McFarlane- Earl and Louise Reid.
He leaves to cherish his mem- ory with: wife, Sylvia McFarlane; children, Andrea McFarlane of Montego Bay, JA, Diane McFar- lane of Loganville, GA, and Quaneshala (Adrian) Johnson of Arlington, TX; grandsons, Em- manuel Jackson, Nickoy Crosse, Daniel Ware, Keevis Jackson, Woodford Crosse, Tyresse Crosse, AJ Johnson, and Aiden Johnson; granddaughters, Deven McFar- lane, Sashagay McFarlane, Dyanna McFarlane, Karnesia Williams and Tesha Williams; great grandchildren, Daesha Williams and Jacai McClendon; brothers, Maxie McFarlane of Tampa, FL, Melvin Reid of Miami, FL, Polish McFarlane of Montego Bay, JA and Tony McFarlane of Tampa, FL; sisters, Evadne Mc- Donald of Miami, FL, Lilly Minto of Toronto, CA, Merdella Reid of Montego Bay, JA, Hyacinth Reid- Brooks of England, Pearline Reid- Edwards of Fort Lauderdale, FL; stepchildren, Mardell (Erica) Oliver and William Johnson; as well as a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, in-laws, and friends.

The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home Friday, March 11th, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.
