Five young adults with ties to the Tampa Bay Area re- cently completed all require- ments and graduated from basic military training for the United States Air Force. Their respective graduation ceremonies took place at the Joint Base San Antonio-Lack- land, in San Antonio, Texas.
Airman Deandre H. Anderson, Airman Tamir H. Blackshear, Jr., Re- serve Airman Kenneth S. Fernandez, Airman 1st Class Savanna J. Recchio, and Airman Stephen T. Yulee completed an inten- sive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
All of the Airmen also earned four credits toward an Associate in Applied Science Degree through the Commu- nity College of the Air Force.
