  Atlanta Rapper 6LACK Is Using His Platform To Help Bring Clean Water To Uganda

East Atlanta isn’t the only place getting a love letter from 6LACK.
In dope news of the day, the Atlanta entertainer part- nered up with the Drop4drop organization to bring smiles and fresh clean water to a community in Uganda. In an Instagram post he shared, “I appreciate music for chang- ing my life, but I love it even more for being the vehicle to do more in the world.”
Drop4drop is a charity that brings clean water to devel- oping countries. Through their work with artists and celebs such as 6LACK, they are on a mission to alleviate the world water crisis and provide clean water for all.

6LACK is no stranger to giving back either.
Last year, he donated $10,000 to the “Music Cares Foundation” to help other up and coming artists who may be struggling on their brink of success.
In the post he continued, “The best part about finding success, is having the ability to do things that seemed so farfetched as a kid.”
   Lena Waithe Inks Overall Deal With Amazon Studios
 Prolific creator-producer Lena Waithe has closed an overall deal with Amazon Studios. She has three series on the air, including the up- coming Amazon horror an- thology Them.
Emmy winner Waithe is among the slew of A-list showrunners who have been shopping mega overall deals over the past seven months. Her Amazon pact is believed to be for two years and in the eight-figure range.
Under the agreement, Waithe, will executive pro- duce Them and work with Amazon Studios to create

  and exec produce new origi- nal series to premiere exclu- sively on Amazon Prime Video. She will develop
shows through Waithe Hill- man Grad, the company she founded with her creative partner Rishi Rajani.
  Season Four Of 'Insecure' Will Begin Shooting In September
 Earlier this week, Insecure creator and star Issa Rae gave a much-anticipated up- date about the next season of the hit HBO series.
During her TCA panel, Rae revealed that writers were busy working on ideas for the show’s fourth season, with plans to begin shooting in September.
The showrunner also dished that the upcoming season will include ten episodes, instead of the usual eight.

Creator and star Issa Rae recently gave fans an update about the hit series, which is set to return in 2020.

Mafia Family Drama Will
Be Next Project At Starz
50 Cent has revealed that his next series for Starz will be a drama based on the story of drug-trafficking organization Black Mafia Family.
The artist, otherwise known as Curtis Jackson, is to exec produce the series, which is currently in development. It comes after Power exec pro- ducer Jackson struck a major overall deal with the premium broadcaster via his own G- Unit Film and Television ban- ner.
