Family Involved In Disneyland Fight Faces Felony Charges
First-Year Harvard Law Students Get Anonymous Racist, Sexist Taunts: ‘You Don’t Belong Here’
Four first-year students at Harvard Law School were taunted with “demeaning” messages over their gender and race and told they don’t “belong” at the prestigious school by an anonymous sender, The Boston Globe re- ports. Two of the students were African-American, while the two others were women.
The messages read, “We all hateu...atleastyouhelp with the curve,” and “you know you don’t belong here . . .. youre just here because of affirmative action,” according to the Harvard Black Law Students Association. The students association said the students were subjected to such “malicious” messages “for months on end.”
While the school hired an outside law firm to conduct an investigation and con- tacted the university’s police department, school officials say they have not identified the culprit. The students as- sociation, however, has ex- pressed frustration that “the sender of this message re- mains unidentified and free to continue harassing Black and women students” while “the targeted students have been left to continue fearing for their safety.”
The group has accused school officials of having “woefully failed to act” to pro- tect the students and of breaking a promise to share the results of the investiga- tion into the messages.

Members of the family that was involved in a viral brawl at Disneyland report- edly facing felony charges.
Per TMZ, three members of the family were hit with charges after getting into a physical altercation in the park’s Toontown area. The video was recorded from multiple angles and uploaded to the Internet, where it later went viral and was used in an investigation towards those involved, conducted by the Anaheim Police Department.
One of the very visible family members involved in the fight may get a pretty se- rious sentence if convicted. 35-year-old Avery Robin- son was charged with five felonies, including domestic battery and assault with a deadly weapon.

Bill To Abolish Federal Death
When it comes to anti- Black racism in film and tele- vision, it can be found in the least expected places, includ- ing animated children's shows. A YouTube channel with content for children has become subject of contro- versy for this very reason.
In a scene from the popu- lar kids' content channel MyPinguTV’s Dina and the Prince Story, the titular char- acter of Dina becomes a fic- tional prince's object of affection. However, Dina is forbidden to speak to him be- cause if she does, she loses her beauty. It appears that she doesn't heed the warn- ing.

After being escorted out of the park, Robinson also re- portedly tried to hit a park employee with his car, and threatened to kill his sister and her husband. He faces at least seven years in prison.
“Any type of violence is in- excusable and will not be tol- erated. Those involved were immediately removed from the premises and turned over to the Anaheim Police De- partment," Liz Jaeger, a Disneyland Resort spokesperson, said of the fight.

Penalty After DOJ Reinstates It
Just after the Department of Justice reversed a 16-year rule banning the use of capi- tal punishment, Democratic Rep. Ayanna Pressley said the death penalty has "no place in a just society." In re- sponse, the Massachusetts congresswoman is introduc- ing a bill that would reverse the action and abolish the death penalty altogether.
While short on details, the bill aims to "prohibit the im- position of the death penalty for any violation of Federal law, and for other purposes." It's the latest piece of legisla- tion introduced by Pressley, a member of the so-called "squad" of progressive Dem- ocratic congresswomen, that directly counters the Trump administration.
