NORTH CAROLINA A&T MEN'S TRACK TEAM
Four members of North Carolina A&T's men’s track & field team are running their way into history.
During Thursday’s an- nual Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays at the University of Texas, four men on the team logged a 3:00.23 run, be- coming the fastest in the world and ranking 11th-best
for a college record accord- ing to News & Record.
The foursome consists of sophomore Randolph Ross Jr., junior Daniel Stokes, and seniors Trevor Stewart and Eli- jah Young, who are contin- uing to break records and win national champi- onships.

Several Masseuses Issue Statements Supporting Deshaun Watson
 Turned Down More
Money To Remain
The Tampa Bay Bucca- neers were able to retain all their starters from their Super Bowl-winning team last season. It took some sac- rifices in order for that to happen.
Leonard Fournette re- signed with Tampa Bay last week on a 1-year deal worth up to $4 million.
The 26-year-old running back said on Wednesday that he turned down more money elsewhere to remain with Tampa Bay.
“It was a difficult process. I knew what I deserved,” Fournette said via NFL Media. “I believed in myself, and I just wanted to come back and enjoy myself. In- stead of me coming and being the new face on the block, I came back to the

team that I enjoyed my process with. I think me coming to this team kind of humbled me a lot, being around so much talent, and you’re so used to being that guy on the team. I think it just helped develop me as a better man, too. I could’ve went somewhere and got more money, but I think this is just the place right now.”
DESHAUN WATSON
Deshaun Watson has now been formally accused of sexual assault by 21 massage therapists.
Last Wednesday, several others who say they have worked with Watson came out in defense of the Houston Texans star.
Watson’s lawyer, Rusty Hardin, provided a press re- lease to Larry Brown Sports and other media outlets on Wednesday that includes statements from 18 different massage therapists who worked with Watson. The masseuses, who attached their names to their state- ments, all defended Watson. Some of them criticized the plaintiffs in the lawsuits against Watson.
One of the women called the accusations “ludicrous” and defended some of the al- leged requests Watson made during massages, such as pre- ferring to be covered with a towel rather than a sheet. An- other woman called Watson “one of the most professional athletes I ever worked on.” Others said the requests Wat- son made for which parts of his body to work on were very common for athletes.
No charges against Wat- son have been filed.

  Jameis Winston Prepared
To Give Up Gunslinger
Mentality, Embrace
'Game-Manager' Role
Jameis Winston wants to stick around as a starting quarterback in the NFL -- and the New Orleans Saints are likely his final chance.
Winston, who threw the most interceptions of any player this century after his first five seasons (88), is set to change his game in order to make that happen.
For Winston to win the Saints' starting quarterback job and stick around in New Orleans, he's going to have to embrace a role he never thought he would envision.
"I never wanted to be deemed a game manager," Winston said on the Huddle & Flow podcast with Steve Wyche and Jim Trotter, via NFL.com. "But really, that game manager is not a bad

piece. That's something that I think just comes with being a professional quarterback. Being able to not just only do the things that you can do, but being able to do the things that you should not do -- like what not to do versus what can I do."
