Nike Sues The Maker Of Lil Nas X’s ‘Satan’ Shoes
Walks Away From ‘The Talk’
Nike has filed a trademark infringement lawsuit against MSCHF, the streetwear com- pany Lil Nas X collaborated with, for their “Satan Shoes.”
The release of the footwear has sparked controversy, with some on social media reacting negatively and others support- ively. But the athletic gear giant says some on social media have threatened to boy- cott the company over it.
According to CNN, the law- suit, which was filed on March 29, states, "MSCHF and its unauthorized Satan Shoes are likely to cause confusion and dilution and create an erro- neous association between MSCHF's products and Nike. In the short time since the an- nouncement of the Satan Shoes, Nike has suffered sig- nificant harm to its goodwill, including among consumers who believe that Nike is en- dorsing satanism."
With $10M Payout
Sharon Osbourne is walking away from The Talk with an eight-figure payout, ac- cording to Page Six.
“Sharon is walking away with a $5 to $10 million minimum payout and was able to spin that it was her decision [to leave the show],” the source said.
Another source claims that her departure agreement states that Sharon Osbourne is al- lowed to speak about the inci- dent in addition to her payout.
“Sharon will talk when she is ready,” the source said. “She still wants to give her side of the story. She has been on that show for 11 years and knows all the se- crets.”
CBS announced that Os- bourne quit The Talk on Fri-
day.
Her departure comes two
weeks after she got into an on-

air argument with her co-host, Sheryl Underwood, about defending her friend Piers Morgan, who strongly attacked Meghan Markle.
Page Six also reported that Sharon Osbourne lawyered up and “wasn’t going down without a fight ... She knows where all the bodies are buried.”
Nike also claimed social media users have threatened to boycott.
The lawsuit asks MSCHF to "permanently stop" fulfilling orders for the "unauthorized" shoes.
The “Old Town Road” artist is not named in the lawsuit.
Lil Nas X collaborated with the streetwear company
MSCHF on the “Satan Shoes,” NBC News reports. Only 666 pairs were on sale starting Monday (March 29) and were sold for $1,018. The shoes are a modified dupe of the Nike Air Max 97s and are decorated with a pentagram pendant and a Bible verse reference to Luke 10:18 about Satan’s fall from heaven.
