Matt Gaetz Sought A Preemptive Pardon From Trump Before He Left Office
Rep. Matt Gaetz of Florida sought "blanket pardons" for himself and his political allies from former President Don- ald Trump shortly before Trump left office in January, The New York Times reported Tuesday.
The Times, citing two people familiar with the discussions, said Gaetz asked the Trump White House, in its final weeks, to grant him immunity for any crimes for which he might later be convicted.

partment over whether he had a sexual relationship with a 17- year-old and paid for her to
travel with him, and broke sex trafficking laws by doing so.
The department began in- vestigating Gaetz late last summer as part of a broader inquiry into the former Florida tax collector Joel Greenberg, who was indicted last August on 14 felony counts, including carrying out the sex trafficking of a minor between the ages of 14 and 17. Last week, it was re- ported that the girl at the heart of the Gaetz inquiry is the same one who was involved in the sex trafficking charge against Greenberg.
Xzibit's 'Napalm' Weed Company
Xzibit is learning a hard lesson about the rules of en- gagement when it comes to selling weed, and rule #1 seems to be ... don't name your company after a chemical weapon.
The rapper/entrepreneur's company -- Napalm Cannabis -- has been dragged online be- cause its name is a sore re- minder of a chemical agent that was used in firebombs during the Vietnam War ... firebombs that killed and maimed innocent citizens, in- cluding the little girl whose photo became a symbol of the horror of the United States' in- volvement in the war.
Napalm was also used against Japan in WWII. Its use

ular -- a pre-rolled joint known as "The Grenade." Seems peo- ple didn't like the cavalier ref- erence to deadly weapons of war.
Bubble At His Atlanta Studio After
Majority Of Crew Get Vaccinated
Tyler Perry was one of the first producers to come up with a comprehensive plan to safely restart TV production in April 2020, just several weeks into the pandemic-related Hollywood shutdown. He got filming up and running by mid-July, employing a quaran- tine bubble model, in which cast and crew are sequestered on the lot for the duration of a shoot.
This Saturday, April 10, Perry will end the bubble at his Tyler Perry Studios in At- lanta, a rep for the media mogul confirmed to Deadline. The move follows a mass vac- cination event at the studio this past Saturday, April 3. Perry, who covered the logis- tical costs, contracted Grady Hospital whose staffers set up the vaccination site at TPS for his entire crew and their fam- ily and friends who had not re-

ceived a vaccine yet.
While open to everyone at
the studio and their close ones, the vaccines were not manda- tory. Over 250 people were in- oculated with the the Pfizer vaccine, with Grady Hospital personnel set to return in a couple of weeks to administer a second doze.
