Break Loose' If 'George Floyd's
Murderer Is Not Sentenced'
Kevin Hart bought a "new" car that's also very old.
The comedy superstar paid $825,000 at the recent Barrett- Jackson Scottsdale auction to buy a very unique 1959 Chevro- let Corvette.
It’s restored two-tone body be- lies the fully updated chassis un- derneath it.
The convertible is powered by a 460 hp 6.2-liter V8 from the seventh-generation Corvette, which was the last front-engine model before the mid-engine C8 debuted last year.

A Black Lives Matter activist with a huge social media fol- lowing threatened that "all hell is gonna break loose" if former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin "is not sen- tenced" for the death of George Floyd, the Daily Wire reported.
Maya Echols — a model with nearly a half-million Tik- Tok followers — made her statement in video that she ap- parently took down, the outlet said. But the clip has been pre- served for posterity:
"If George Floyd's mur- derer is not sentenced, just

know that all hell is gonna break loose," Echols said. "Don't be surprised when buildings are on fire. Just sayin'."

Hart was the high bidder at

DMX On Life Support, Continues To Be In ‘Vegetative State’
Nike Suspends Sponsorship Of Deshaun Watson Amid Sexual Assault Allegations
Rapper DMX is on life sup- port and continues to be in a "vegetative state," as of Wednesday the rapper's for- mer manager stated.
The entertainer, born Earl Simmons, was said to have suffered an overdose-induced heart attack late Friday. He was immediately transported to a White Plains, New York, hospital, where he has re- mained.
His longtime attorney told NBC News that Simmons
DMX
had to be resuscitated and was placed on life support when he arrived at the hospital.
Nike has suspended its en- dorsement deal with Deshaun Watson amid the sexual as- sault and inappropriate behav- ior allegations made against the Houston Texans quarterback, the company said in a statement Wednesday.
"We are deeply concerned by the disturbing allegations and have suspended Deshaun Watson. We will continue to closely monitor the situation," Nike said in its statement.
Twenty-two women have filed lawsuits against Watson over the past month that allege "a disturbing pattern" of behavior during massage and therapy ses- sions.
On Tuesday, Ashley Solis publicly spoke about her allega- tions, saying Watson "robbed" her of the feeling that she was healing people as a massage

therapist.
The NFL has launched an in-
vestigation into Watson under its personal conduct policy, and NFL spokesperson Brian Mc- Carthy on Tuesday called the allegations against the quarter-
back "deeply disturbing." The Houston Police Department also has an open investigation into Watson, without specifying what he has been accused of. Watson's brand partnerships also include Rolex, Beats by Dre and local partnerships with H- E-B and Reliant Energy. He also joined Lefty's, a cheesesteak franchise, opening a restaurant in Houston near NRG Stadium in 2020.
Watson has publicly denied any wrongdoing, and Rusty Hardin, whose law firm is rep- resenting Watson, said last month that he believes "any al- legation that Deshaun forced a woman to commit a sexual act is completely false." Hardin said in a statement last week that he and Watson will "fully cooperate with the Houston Police Depart- ment."
Black Officer Almost Shot Romeo Miller Until He Recognized Him
A Black officer almost shot Romeo Miller during a traf- fic stop, but then, the officer recognized Miller as a celebrity.
On Thursday’s appearance on The Mix, Miller told the show’s hosts that when he was driving near UCLA, an officer pulled him over and pulled his gun as he approached Miller’s car, Blavity reported.
“In UCLA, you get pulled over there, you better have that camera recording because they don’t play no games. The guy pulled me over at gunpoint, a Black cop, and he was like ‘Is this a stolen vehicle.’ I’m like ‘Relax. Just come check my registration and get my dri- ver’s license,'” Miller said.
Thinking that Miller was driving a stolen car, the officer demanded to see his identifi- cation—or he was going to shoot the artist formerly known as Lil Romeo.

“When he saw it was me, he said ‘Oh, Romeo Miller? Oh, you good. I thought you were just some random Black dude.'” Miller explained his stardom made him a less per- ceivable threat, but he lamented how his lesser- known, yet noticeably taller brothers would have faired. “It’s scary for me because my brothers ain’t famous. They bigger than me at 6’4,” 6’5.” These guys are intimidated by Black men,” Miller continued.
