One Injured, One Dies In Fatal Riverview Shooting
Two people were injured by gunfire at the Windermere Apartments in Riverview last Friday. One person died.
Three Charged After Drugs Found In Jail
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is currently in- vestigating a fatal shooting. The incident took place last Friday in the 9000 block of Windermere Lake Drive, in Riverview.
According to police, deputies responded to the lo- cation around 11 p.m., in refer- ence to gunshots. When they arrived, they discovered that an adult man had been shot.

He died at the scene.
An adult female, who was
also suffering from gunshots, was transported to a local hos- pital. She was listed in critical condition. No additional infor- mation has been released and the investigation is continuing.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office has arrested three people they believe are connected to drugs being brought into the jail at Falkenburg Road Jail. The investigation began on March 30, 2021.
According to police, de- tectives gathered informa- tion that a nurse was bringing narcotics into the facility. They identified the woman as 32-year-old Michelle Alaine Lipinski, an employee of NaphCare, who worked at the facility.

Seneca Oryan Dukes, who was booked into the jail on July 21, 2020 for violation of probation. Detectives said Dukes was reportedly sell- ing the drugs to other in- mates.
On April 2, 2021, Lipin- ski was arrested when she arrived at the facility for work.
As the investigation con- tinued, detectives learned that a third person, Miriam Marti-Benning, was also involved in the incident. Dur- ing an interview, Marti- Benning told police she picked up the heroin and meth from a man and took it

to Lipinski so that she could deliver them to Dukes, who then distributed them to oth- ers.
Lipinski was charged with 2 counts of introduction of contraband into a deten- tion facility; and conspiracy to introduce contraband into a detention facility.
Dukes was charged with conspiracy to introduce con- traband into a detention fa- cility.
Marti-Benning was charged with 2 counts of con- spiracy to introduce contra- band into a detention facility and two counts of delivery of a controlled substance.
Man Kills Three, Then Himself In Brooklyn
Kodak Black Shot At In Tallahassee; Security Guard Seriously Injured

Kodak Black and his en- tourage were ambushed out- side a McDonald’s in Tallahassee on Sunday, leav- ing one of his security guards seriously injured. A source reports that gunfire erupted around 3 AM Monday morn- ing in the parking lot of a Mc- Donald’s. According to Law enforcement, the shooter opened fire from a car that was tailing Kodak and his people.
The rapper’s entourage was being followed by several cars attempting to cut them off as they left a nightclub. Kodak’s camp pulled up to the fast food joint and blocked the entrance as Kodak went inside to pick up an order.
That’s when one of the
cars tailing Kodak went to the McDonald’s, left and then came back. The people inside the vehicle then started shooting at Kodak and his entourage. The guard is re- portedly undergoing surgery after one of the shots hit an artery but the rapper is thank- fully unharmed. Kodak was in town headlining a Sunday music festival, Cultur3 Fest.
A 46-year-old man previ- ously convicted of manslaughter fatally shot the mother of his daughter and two of the woman’s other children in a Brooklyn apart- ment late Monday before killing himself, New York Po- lice Department officials said.
The suspect, Joseph Mc- Crimon, of Mount Vernon, killed the three victims after an argument between him and the mother inside her apartment in the New York City Housing Authority’s Van Dyke Houses complex, the of- ficials said.
Officers found the bodies of the three victims in the apartment after Mr. McCri- mon’s 9-year-old daughter
called 911 during her birthday party to report gunshots, ac- cording to the officials. The girl’s mother, 45-year-old Rasheeda Barzey, and the girl’s two half-sisters, 16- year-old Chloe Spears and 20-year-old Solei Spears, were found with gunshot wounds and declared dead at the scene, the officials said. The two half-sisters weren’t related to Mr. McCrimon.
Police discovered the 9- year-old girl hiding inside her mother’s apartment, the offi- cials said.
Mr. McCrimon’s body was found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head in a walkway of a nearby build- ing, the officials said.
