Danny Clay Presents ‘A Tribute To Luther Vandross’ At Heritage Gala
His name is recording artist MR. Danny Clay. Born and raised in Brunswick, Georgia, but currently traveling the world abroad.
He opened on tour with the world's funniest comedian/actor in the country, the amazing Steve Har- vey. He met Steve Harvey by singing on his then radio show, “Star Idol.” He performed one of Luther’s Vandross’ songs and was so well re- ceived that he sang for 30 minutes straight on live radio.
While performing, he was discov- ered by Tyler Perry and was asked to come perform in his new hit stage play, “Madea’s Big Happy Family,” which toured around the country.
Now that the tour is over, Danny is working on his “Tribute to Luther
Vandross” tour. Although Luther Vandross has passed and there will only be one Luther Vandross, Danny Clay has been blessed with the gift to sing Luther’s songs in a way that if you close your eyes you will think Luther is back in the house.
Danny and his band have been touring the country this year prepar- ing to showcase one of the greatest musical voices back to the stage. At one of his previous shows one lady said: ‘Currently, Danny has per- formed not only nationally, but over- seas with standing ovations in both United States, UK and Africa.
