CHARLOW
MS. SHIRLEY ANN KELLY
The homegoing service for Mrs. Shirley Ann Kelly, who de- parted this life on Friday, Octo- ber 21, 2016, will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2016, 11 a. m. at St. Luke Missionary Bap- tist Church, 108 S. Warnell Street, Plant City, (33563). Visi- tation will be Friday, October 28, 2016from5to7P.M.atSt.Luke Missionary Baptist Church. Elder Eric Williams will offici- ate.
Mrs. Kelly was born in Wa- verly, Florida as one of six daughters, to Howard and Lena King. She was preceded in death by her oldest sister, Delores Gaddy.
Shirley was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County, graduating from Mar- shall High School. Upon gradua- tion, she continued her education at Florida Agricul- tural & Mechanical University, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s of Ed- ucation in Guidance and Coun- seling.
While in college, she met the love of her life, Floyd Kelly. On November 11, 1971, Floyd and Shirley married and to this union three wonderful children were born; Keith, Kelvin and Kenneth.
Shirley was employed by the School District of Hillsborough County. She started her teaching career at J. S. Robinson Elemen- tary School and later taught at Lincoln Elementary School, where she became a Guidance Counselor. Shirley was hired at Belle Witter Elementary School as a Guidance Counselor, where she retired in 2003.
After retiring from the School District of Hillsborough County, some of Shirley’s community service has been dedicated to tu- toring and substitute teaching. The professional and service or- ganizations in which she has been affiliated with are: Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Eastern Stars, Daughters of Isis, Buenas Ami- gas, Plant City Colts and Dol- phins organization, and the Elementary School Counselors Association.
To cherish her precious mem- ory Shirley leaves: three sons, Keith Kelly (Arlene), Kelvin Kelly and Kenneth Kelly, all of Plant City, Florida; four sisters, Lillian Gordon, Graycell Smith, Mary Joyce Clayton (Robert) and Gwendolynn King, all of Plant City; eight grandchildren, Jeneisha, Gregory, Shayla, Keishawn, Kijah, Kiael, Aliah and Kylie; one great-grandchild, Liyah Salmon; three sisters-in- law, Bessyee Washington, Talla- hassee, Sarah Gant (Willie) and Leecy Manual of Jacksonville, Florida; a very special childhood friend, Alice Williams, Plant City; a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, other close relatives and dear friends.

MS. ETTA HOUSTON
Funeral services for Ms. Etta Houston who passed away on Oc- tober 17, 2016 will be held Satur- day, October 29, 2016, at 1 p. m. at Harmon Funeral Home, 5002 N. 40th Street, Tampa, 33610, with Rev. Tommy O’Neal, offici- ating. Interment will be placed in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Ms. Etta Houston was a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and a cousin. She was born in Trelawny, Jamaica to loving parents who preceded her in death, Mr. and Mrs. Albert (Mary) Witter. She was blessed with many siblings; 4 brothers and 5 sisters who all preceded her in death.
She was also blessed with 2 wonderful sons whom she loved with all her heart.
Etta was educated in the schools in her native home Ja- maica. Her primary and second- ary education was at the Wilson’s Run all Age School in Troy, Trelawny. She migrated to the USA in 1986, at the age of 46.
She was later married to Mr. Jeff Houston and resided in the Tampa area for 30 years until her heavenly father called her home.
Ms. Etta, also known as “Nurse,” spent her entire life in the nursing profession. She worked at the Office of Dr. Rob in Jamaica first as his Receptionist then, became his Nurse Assis- tant, helping him with nursing duties as little as fixing a nose cold to a more complex duty as fixing a broken bone. She contin- ued her career here in the USA as a Nurse’s Aide in the nursing homes giving care to the sick.
On Monday October 17th, 2016, Ms. Etta Houston was called home to rest. She was preceded in death by: her siblings, Dellis, Nerrissa, Grace, Eva, Girly, Boyee, Val, Frank n Douglas.
She is survived by: her pre- cious sons, Courtney Christian (Dolores) and Adrian Newman (Nadeen); 3 grandchildren, Nor- ris Christian, Kyle Newman and Katrina Newman; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing relatives and friends.
Visitation for Ms. Etta Hous- ton will be held this Friday evening from 5 p. m. until 8 p. m. at Harmon Funeral Home, 40th Street. The processional on Sat- urday will assemble at 12:45 p. m.

MS. CLEANNA K. SCRUGGS
In loving memory of Ms. Cleanna K. Scruggs, a memorial service will be held Saturday, October 29, 2016, 4 p. m. at Har- mon Funeral Home, 5002 N. 40th Street, Tampa, 33610, with Bishop Zayne D. Scruggs of Charlotte, N. C., officiating.
Cleanna confessed her hope in Jehovah, was baptized in 1982 and was a faithful member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Wit- ness until her passing. Cleanna was a person that loved life. She believed in living life to the fullest and this was reflected in her travels throughout the states. Her strength and charac- ter were reflected in her good nature, personality and generos- ity. She was a friendly, funny and caring person who left strangers and people remem- bering her big beautiful smile.
She was educated in Hayti Public School System, where she received her high school diploma from Central High School and her certification as a Licensed Practical Nurse from the Derring Technical School in Derring, MO. After graduation from high school, she relocated to St. Louis, MO to pursue her career in the nursing field.
She was preceded in death by: both parents; her loving son, Thomas Scruggs; and four brothers, Dr. Willie Lee, Robert, Isaac, and Thomas Scruggs.
She will forever live in the hearts of those whose lives she touched. Cleanna’s cherished legacy includes: her children, Shona Lilly, Scottsdale, AZ, Bishop Zayne Scruggs, Char- lotte, NC, RN Lashonda Scruggs, Wesley Chapel, FL, Nugene Duckworth, Tampa and Larhonda Magarinos (Richard), Tampa; and her grandchildren, Makauia Lilly, Makayla Scruggs Lilly, Timothy Lilly, Jr., Anthony Scruggs, Tony Scruggs, Keyshawn Scruggs, Laurice Scruggs, Nugene Duckworth, Jr., Jada Duckworth, Jadyn Duckworth and Omari Duck- worth; two sisters, Delois Scruggs-White (Robert) and Shirley Majors (Terry) both of St. Louis, MO; and three broth- ers, James Scruggs, St. Louis, MO, Arthur Scruggs, Charlotte, NC and Matthew Scruggs, St. Louis, MO; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, Kingdom Hall family and friends. A spe- cial best friend of 30 years, Bessie Hollingshed of, St. Louis, MO.

MR. VICTOR RAY RILES
Mr. Victor Ray Riles, 51, of Tampa, FL, went home to Glory on 10/19/16. He was a ‘83 gradu- ate of Tampa Bay Technical High School, a U. S. Gulf War Army Vet for 11 years, a Reservist for the Florida National Guard, and a 32nd Degree Mason of Lodge #580 IFAMM. He was for- merly employed with Sears Lo- gistics Corp., then as Sr. Regional Mgr. for Momentum Logistics.
He leaves fond memories with a loving family: children; Shenita Riles ( Janisha ), Michael Harris, Victor R. Riles, Jr. and Joseph Riles; a grandson, Da- narius Riles; his mother, Mrs. Loretha Riles; siblings: Diana Young (Michael), Christopher Riles (Anna) and Dwayne Riles (Virginia), all of Tampa; along with a host of extended family members and sorrowing friends.
Victor’s remains will repose on Friday, 5-8 p. m., at St. John Cathedral, 3401 E. 25th Ave., Tampa. The service will be Sat., October 29, 2016, at 11 a. m. with burial on Monday, Oct. 31, 2016, at 11:30 a. m. at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.

MR. THEODORE (POP) DAVIS
Homegoing celebration for Mr. Theodore (Pop) Davis, who transitioned October 20, 2016 will be held Saturday, October 29, 2016, 11 a. m. at First Mis- sionary Baptist Church of High- land Pines, 4711 E. 21st Avenue, Tampa, 33605 with Rev. Cleve- land Lane, Pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Ceme- tery.
Theodore (Pop) Davis, as he was known, was born August 27, 1943 in Tallahassee, Florida to the parents of the late Thomas (Mary) Davis. Pop at- tended the public schools of Leon County. He graduated from Lincoln High School. He was employed for many years by the City of Tallahassee and retired from the Department of Agriculture.
Pop was an avid football and baseball fan. Pop loved going to church. He was a Sunday School Teacher, sang in the choir, and also in the male cho- rus.
Theodore was preceded in death by: his mother and fa- ther, Mary Davis and Thomas Davis; 2 brothers, Josh Davis and Daryl Davis; 1 sister, Lillie Ruth Davis; 2 nephews, Gre- gory Davis and Leroy (Whoppo) Chestnut.
He is survived by: 2 sisters, Lula Davis, Tallahassee, Annie Mae Davis, Tampa; 2 brothers, Thomas Davis, Jr. and Nelson Davis, Tallahassee; 3 aunts, Re- becca Leon, Edith Banks, Idella Leon, Tallahassee; nieces, Tressa Guy, Valerie Guy, Ten- derly Chestnut, Tampa, Nicole Davis, Tallahassee; nephews, Anthony Mitchell, Alabama, Gary Davis, Tallahassee; great nieces, Lerisha Chestnut, Dari- ous Wingfield, Vince Bostick, Treca Bostick, Ashely Guy, An- tioniza Williams; great nephews, Jaden, Jadlen, Jay- won, Gutton, Sincerely Leroy, Fredrick Davis, Wisdom Chest- nut, Antionia Diaz, Robert Wimbrush; and a very, very good care givers, Mr. and Mrs. Todd (Beverly) Lett and family; a host of nieces, nephews, and everyone who loved him.
